If you will be here to criticise, my honest advice would be to stop watching. I agree when it started, we all thought Ishqbaaz would be different free from roz rona dhona, multiple sautans and saas bahu fights. But see for yourself. Look where IB and DBO stand today. What started as a tale of 3 brothers has now become a typical drama show. Our favourite characters have been murdered i would say. I always loved pinky and some of my friends call me oh my mata. But in this track, a bubbly caring and fun mother has become conniving plotting and mean. You really think this can happen in real life

I personally think that Gul Khan has let me down or simply did not live up to my expectations. And this is just so sad. I don't want to watch IB now but i still do just for this fabulous cast and their hardwork. NarBhi's chemistry and ShivOmRu just keep me glued. So please Gul mam don't ruin IB for us. IB means a lot to fans like me

Coz you will find this everywhere in every show.. I don't know why you felt only "Hindu marriage " is being mocked.. it's just "marriage"...

Honestly just watch the show as a show, a fiction. All shows have this crap. If GK is doing her crap, then EK has been doing a higher scale of crap. You're gonna see butchering of marriage, n other issues in every show cause that's how they create drama for trps. It's not gonna change cause at the end of the day, it's more about how much money they made. So i guess the decision you need to make is to continue watching the show or not. There's no point in boiling our blood over this stuff.

This was a well raised point. I somehow forgot.

Why Hindu Marriage' really? Marriage is marriage. How does it really differ being it or something else?

LOL IB isn't as bad as other shows with respect to marriage concept.

In IB, marriages are never broken, other than recent forced seperation of Shivika. Leads in this show didn't get married more than once. I'm talking in terms of complete marriage rituals.

Yes many times in real life marriage proposals are fixed but doesn't happen for some reason.

In other shows main leads gets married many time and that too without divorce. 😆😆😆

'Holy'? There's nothing holy about marriage. It's been around since before religion came along.

And please, every Indian serial makes a mockery of marriage. You think this is bad? I've seen dramas where the same two people get married over and over for no reason. One couple even said (rather proudly) that they're going to be together for 14 births because they married twice. After that, they got married again.

Forget Hindu marriage. Despite having a Muslim surname, Gul has made a mockery out of Islamic marriage the most. The accidental halala crap in QH was just too much... SJ got decked up as a bride at least ten times.

Don't expect realism from an Indian serial.
