Is GK trying to ridicule the Hindu marriage system?

sorry but there are shows where ML gets married so many times and with different female but still people are watching those kind of shows and it tops the chart as well. i still find IB different so i would request you guys to please stop asking to shutdown the show

Toh QH mein SJ got married like 10 times
Waha toh muslim marriages ka omm kar rakhi di khan Mam!
Even our SC, haya got married 3 or 4 times
SC shivika shaadi time bola tha ki she hopes is show mein ek shaadi hi ho 😆

I do agree and even understand why you are saying, what you are but I would say a thing that I have realized a few days before.

If we watch the shows keeping in mind that they are fictions, mere imagination and there is nothing like right/wrong, justified/unjustified because imagination is vast and that depends on the person who is creating it but varies from person to person who is looking for it .


It was the episode before separation where I was disgusted with ML. He threw the papers on her face and
that made me question myself was it worth watching this show? It was all a thought process of a few minutes but when after some days , like today, when I sit back thinking over the same... I do not feel that severely for it.
May be because I am learning, reminding myself that it is a fiction... idea of someone, and the imaginary world will revolve as per writer's creativity but that doesn't mean I am watching the show.

See its similar to that of reading a FF or a book. In the end, serial or book, both are fictions. When you read a book and you don't find it satisfying to yourself... what you do is to leave it. We might like some pages but once we feel disconnect, we refrain from going further. We don't question the writer saying why you have written this ? and all stuff but the same book, which you did not like may be loved by many.

Similarly, we watch serials until we like it but here is a slight difference here . We get more attached to shows (visuals, no?) and hence we keep watching it even if it disappoints us and in the end, get frustrated because from out point of view, its not justifying but it can be... from that of the many people.

Have you seen Harry Potter? We know that it is not real but when we step into that world, we want to believe everything because we like it and when we don't like it, we start relating it with life, searching for the essence of realistic-ness. It is pretty normal and human nature.

No one can make any one watch a show deliberatly
This is a business, it need to produce "money"
For that the production house need TRP.
Who gives it the viewers !!!!!
They are trying to feed the crowd what they like.
Is there any show the "Male lead " not engaged to other females !
There are a few but they failed at TRP.

We must separate from "reality from dream"
Why must people fight for stars!

If any fan face a problem in real life no celebrity come to help !Why to think the characters are real!
Actors are acting for "money "( they won't do it free")
Producers are doing it for financial benefit !
We must give "entertainment the value it deserve , not our soul

Every thing rolls around benefit , the fact serials are regressive because majority of the viewers prefer it .
Once the women in India changes the regressive concepts will change .
It is every ones faults ...
Or can say it id no ones fault...

Producers will produce shows, won't they? Because that is how they earn like some people work in an company, some do business, likewise this is their job, a way to earn money. Baki, how much seriously one takes it depend on the person solely and producers cant be blamed, I believe.

I understand when you say it breaks your heart and that is why, I advise you really shouldn't watch if that is affecting you so much.

I really don't want to believe that she is trying to ridicule our marriage system,but each show should coy some message and her show sending a message that you can just get engaged/married to take revenge on your lady love, younger viewers are her major audience and she knows that very well, showing this kind of stuff may influence their views towards marriage.

Reading a book is my choice but a show when it is airing every day we can't control our kids always. I don't know if my words are making any sense, all I want to say is reading something and watching something is completely different specially when the characters are so close to your heart that you are almost obsessed with them.

Sorry for another lengthy reply... ignore mistakes as writing in English is not an easy thing for me.

Again, we cannot really blame her for the things she is showing because that is her show and it is expected to consider that viewers will take it like a fiction. Relating it with a life, and reality is like being stupid [ which I did, just few days before🤢] As much as I hate to admit but the fact is, such series, get them TRPs [ what they are working for] They aren't to be blamed because audience is liking what they are showing.🥱

@Bold above, you have kids? Ah, if possible you should keep them away from IB [ because there has been a lot of extremes shown. But if you are letting them watch, make sure to tell them the difference between a serial and life and what we see in the show cannot and should not exist in reality.

Again, if the characters are close to our heart and we are obsessed with them, then its our look out, no? Its about us. CVs or producers cant do anything. Not trying to be rude. I hope you are getting what am I trying to say.
