Naj, 🤗lovely to see your posts with pictorial evidence👏
Hi Sim 🤗, missed you during the weekend, you've been gayab, busy I guess?!
Yes I was watching old episodes and rediscovering characters
Along with all the qualities you & many others have mentioned/ lamented the loss of them, I like his eccentricity. IMO, he's the only hero who kisses the girl in front of her family to stop her engagement & gets slapped & thrown to jail for the same & brags about it to her later.
@Blue, yes this was something unique about the character, he had his own style and it made it entertaining and out of the box, the pleasant unpredictability always makes for a good watch and it was one of the things I liked about the show, that it didn't always present things in a cliched boring way (at least not all the time) despite the drama
I also think, he's the only desi hero who goes to work& works out regularly and counts calories w.o coming across as sissy and gets the better off the vamps every time.
I always thought he was too secured & arrogant to act petty then they proved me wrong and showed him locking up Mehak in the cold-storage & hogging all the credit.
@Blue, Yes his passion for his work and the attention he used to give to its details made him different from other heros, something you would respect him for. He was a man who would spend three nights in a row awake for his work, I still remember when he saved Nehal from committing suicide, he was checking the construction site of his restaurant, then the decoration details in another episode, plus the menu and the service, the several meetings with investors and obviously the days of ISC, his role as as judge, these were the days where the focus was on the theme of the show and it was well done.
@ Red, He was a very hardworking man, alas they made the two blunders of making him steal her mother's recipe book and taking the credit for her work the day he locked her up in the store room, it was so unlike a proud man like him (out of character if you would ask me, just for a twist they played with the character), they should have made him hire her in his restaurant as a dignified man paying her a salary, he could be tough with her then too, there could have been multiple possibilities for romance and takrar as well but they opted for the fake romance for a demeaning reason which is not something a man of values would do!
I just hope now that they didn't enter the phase of Bahufication/glorification of the female lead and Bakrafication of the male lead!!
I liked the Shauriya who atoned for his mistakes and amended his way in his larger than life ways. I hope he 'll do the same in this track too by acknowledging Mehak as the business woman of the year publicly.
I'm pining my hope on the team that wrote his apology at ISC finale and trust they'll make him do something extraordinary to endear him to the Sharmas once again.
He might throw tantrums and taunt her but will stand by her eventually like he did with MDH.
@ Blue, Yes we liked the man who would make amends for his mistakes without losing his style and dignity,I used to like his larger than life ways, but wasn't that apology a part of his plan to impress his investors and impress her as well?!
@Pink, that would be great, we don't want a jealous Shaurya, that would make things worse. We also want the successful businessman back, I know Mehek is very good with cooking but does she have management skills as well?! Would she in a matter of days become more skillful and experienced than the man who has many years of experience in business? !! she is an art graduate as far as I know, I don't say she can't become skillful with time but being able to manage the whole business in a matter of days is a little far fetched na?!! (as an example let's just take the fire security measures she didn't know about before)
P.S : pictorial evidence for you 😉😆
