| CS: Gagan, are you married and do you have any children? GM: Yes I'm married but I have no kids for the moment.
CS: Where do you live in India? GM: I live in New Dehli. CS: I found your internet website which was under construction and we took lots of pictures of you but for some reasons, now it is not available anymore? What happened? GM: I didn't know that, I'm going to check this with the webmaster. Did you like the pictures? CS: Yes of course! GM: Give me your address and I'll ask to the manager to send you a CD with pictures, they are not only from Bharati but maybe you can use them for your website. CS: Yes sure, thanks a lot, that would be great! CS: Did you stop your career as a model? GM: No but now I'm very busy with Bharati. But if there are some needs and I'm available, I do it. CS: Why you didn't go in the movie industry like most of the indian models? GM: I wanted to bring my country to the world and with movies, you don't always have this kind of opportunity. With an international show like Bharati, we represent India abroad and for me it's a big honour to do so. CS: Do you speak French? GM: Rahul taught me the minimum I needed: "je m'appelle Gagan Malik" and "je t'aime bien"! CS: Ah yes, it's enough with the girls! RV: Yes, that's what I told him, he doesn't need more! CS: The performance rythm is quite high with a lot of shows from September to February, when will you go back hom? GM: We might have holidays in February so it will be at this moment. CS: Is your wife with you during the Tour? GM: Yes she is always with me when I travel. CS: There are news songs in this 2nd version of the show? Why that? GM: Actually we are constantly trying to improve the show without changing the story that's why we made some amendments. Then maybe next year, we will change it again and again if we feel we should. It depends also on the audience reactions. CS: DO you plan to play Bharati in the French West indies? GM: I will come anywhere if people want us to come. There is no problem! CS: So, I confirm, you are expected over there! GM: Yes I can guess so. I was in Trinidad for cultural events organised to celebrate the 150th birthday of the Indian migration and the atmosphere was crazy!! Their Chutney music is amazing! |
