I have to disagree with you , its very difficult for Dev to ask his mother for anything for himself he has always been the one giving imagine his state that now he has to tell his mother he had fallen in love its not easy

if Sona that has such an awesome relation with her parents cannot tell them that she has fallen in love with Dev than how is Dev a coward

I don't think it's being coward... It is being hesitant. He is being this way because he needs his mother's approval, he has to ask her. These r the things he has never done. He has always been a giver, never a seeker with his mother.
The more he delays talking to Ishwari, more problems it will create for them. Sona sees it, he doesn't. He has a certain way of thinking, seeking approval does not fit in that. He knows he needs to do it but is stalling it as much as possible coz it's difficult for him. And yes! What if it's not what Ishwari approves off?

Going with the way Dev is hesitating or whatever, in future when Ishwari would start showing her displeasure, Dev would never say a word. Not even when he would clearly understand Ishwari is wrong for he can not see disappointment on Ishwari's face. So though we know Ishwari would say a yes but suppose she would have had said No then Dev would have permanently left Sona even after making tall promises. Disappointing completely.

"Naam bade aur darshan chote" fits so well on someone like dev, n no I am not saying this on one episode but also what might happen in the future. He won't change. Dev would remain like that. Its Ishwari who had to change or else Dev Sona relation would never happen because Ishwari would disagree and Dev cannot disappoint her. Frustrating right now.

Glad sona wold speak, finally. Hope Dev doesn't backfires on her or else he is so gone on the forum.

@Bold - If this happens .I will not like it.If you love have the courage to fight for your love.If don't have courage then don't fall in love.If Dev cannot disappoint his mom n can disappoint Sona.I don't want Sona to be so selfless n understand Dev.She should just break the relation.A man who cannot stand of their love.Why should Sona be with that kind of man.I don't want Sona to be Mahaan
