A Big Mistake
Part- 3
Soon sanyukta and anju reached home. The whole journey was silent and sanyukta was getting impatient to know about what happened between randhir and her mom.
Sanyukta helped her mother come out of the taxi and took her to the house. She took out the keys and opened the door. When she entered, what she saw left her stunned.
Their was the whole dream team including Ragini. Sanyukta frowned seeing her here. She didn't expected to see anyone here at this time especially Ragini. Suddenly her eyes caught something. She looked around to search the person she wanted to see in the dream team but he was missing. .Yes her Randhir was missing.
"Kya hua sanyukta kisi ko dhund rahi ho?", Parth asked seeing sanyukta looking around.
Sanyukta looked at him and nodded her head in a no. She then asked him, "tum log yaha kya kar rahe ho Parth?"
"Hum yaha tumhari engagement attend karne aaye hai aur woh bhi inte short notice pe", Parth said smilingly.
Sanyukta was shocked and looked at her mother for explanation. Anju simply pointed towards the other door.
Sanyukta looked up in the direction to find Randhir and Dhruv coming out together. She was happy to see Randhir but suddenly her expression changed from happiness to shock.
The first thought that came into her mind seeing Dhruv and Parth talking about engagement was that she was probably getting engaged to Dhruv. But her heart was not ready to accept this.
She looked at her mother in shock and then at Randhir. Her eyes filled with tears seeing him happy.
Means he was happy seeing her going away from him, sanyukta thought.
"Beta maine teri engagement fix kardi hai. Main chahti hu ki mujhe kuch hoye usse pehle main tujhe settle kardu", Anju said caressing sanyukta's head.
"Lekin maa...", Sanyukta tried to talk but was cutoff but anju.
"Vidushi beta jakar sanyukta ko tayar kardo", Anju said smiling.
Vidushi nodded and took sanyukta with her. Here, sanyukta was so shocked that she didn't even said a word against it. She was a broken soul from inside. She didn't expected all this to happen so fast. She thought that she would talk to her mother about her and Randhir relation but she was getting engaged today, in fact now only.
After an hour Vidushi brought sanyukta out. Sanyukta was clad in a beautiful mehron colour lehenga. She was looking gorgeous.
Soon the whole dream team along with ragini and dhruv gathered in the centre for the ceremony. Sanyukta was still silent. She didn't knew what to do. She loved Randhir but she loved her mother too and she cannot hurt her.
She immediately decided to sacrifice her love for her mother's sake.
Sanyukta trance was broken when her mother forwarded the ring to her. She took it from her and hung her head low as she didn't have the courage to look at anyone. She particularly didn't wanted to look at Randhir.
Anju asked sanyukta to make the ring wear to the groom. The groom forwarded his hand and Sanyukta without looking up did so. She controlled her tears and closed her eyes.
Everyone hooted and clapped for them. Now it was the groom's turn. Sanyukta forwarded her hand and the boy took her hand in his.
Suddenly Sanyukta felt a familiar touch and in reaction she opened her eyes. As she opened her eyes she saw a orange ring in the right hand of the boys ring finger. She understood who he was and immediately looked up. Yes you guessed it right. He was our hero, Randhir.
She didn't knew how to react. She was happy but at the same time she was shocked as how could this happen.
She looked at him with confusion and then at her mother for explanation.
"Sab bataongi pehle yeh pura kar", Anju smiled and gave Sanyukta's hand in randhir's.
Randhir made her wear the ring. Everyone hooted and clapped. Today they saw too person who, at first never talked properly with other, were getting engaged and were heading towards a new life altogether.
Sanyukta looked at Randhir for explanation. She needed to know everything.
"Batata hu", Randhir said reading Sanyukta's mind.
"Tumne hamari coffee shop wali baate toh pata hi hain. I know tumne microphone fit kiya tha", Randhir said smilingly. "Uske baad jab aunty ne mujhe apne ward mein bulaya tha unhone mujhe maafi mangi ki unhone woh sari baate mujhse kahi. She said unhe apni galti ka ehsas ho gya hai aur ab woh tumhari aur meri engagement karna chahti hai aur woh bhi aaj hi."
Randhir while saying this was looking at sanyukta's changing expression from shock to surprise to a faint smile.
"Haan sanyu, mujhe ehsas ho gya tha ki tujhe Randhir se acha ladka nahi milega. Bahut badi galti karne ja rahi thi main tujhe aur Randhir ko alag karke. Haan kuch der ke liye mujhe laga ki woh tere layak nhi hain lekin jab usne mujhe yeh bataya ki woh kis wajah se tujhse dur raha tha, tab mujhe toh wishwas hi nahi hua", anju said looking at Randhir.
"Kya hua tha?", Sanyukta asked, her tone serious.
"Karan is dead sanyukta aur meri responsibility woh Randhir ko de gaya tha jisse Randhir pura kar raha tha. Agar woh tumhe yeh baat batata toh tumhari jaan ko bhi khatra ho sakta jaisi meri jaan ko hai. Isliye usne tumhe nahi bataya", Ragini told her the whole truth.
Sanyukta was shocked listening this. She never expected that Randhir did all this for her safety and to keep his promise.
Today she was proud of him and now she can proudly call herself Randhir's fiance . She blushed thinking it.
"Lekin tumne mujhe yeh pehle kyu nahi bataya?", Sanyukta asked angrily.
"Sorry. Ab bhi gussa karogi", Randhir asked happily.
"Aur nahi toh kya. Ab toh biwi ban jayegi toh uska hi hukum chalega", Parth teased the newly engaged couple.
Sanyukta blushed amd Randhir smiled shyly.
"Acha chalo ab sab khana kha lo", Anju intrupted.
"Haan aunty waise bhi pet mein Sanyukta bhabhi ji aur Randhir bhai ladai kar rahe hai", Yoyo comment made everyone laugh.
Soon everyone settled for dinner and our duo was sitting together. Randhir holded Sanyukta's hand under the table and Sanyukta eyes wide opened in shock.
"I love you", Randhir whispered near her ear.
Sanyukta blushed and replied, " I love you too."
Randhir smiled when suddenly everyone shouted "WE LOVE YOU BOTH."
Randhir and Sanyukta were shocked listening it. Both blushed and smiled looking at everyone.
