Vibhav Roy was born in New Delhi. After completing his schooling he went to Melbourne, Australia to study further. He did his BCOM and then CA. He also worked with IBM for 4 years. Vibhav always wanted to become an actor. To achieve his dream he returned to Delhi and left for Mumbai. He did modelling for some time and was seen in some TV Commercials. Later, he got lucky with Life OK's Gustakh Dil's auditions.

Vibhav was first seen in TV Commercials like Olay, Philips, Idea and Close Up. He finally got selected for Life OK's Gustakh Dil as the lead - Nikhil Bhardwaj, a cool guy who is very much in love with his childhood sweetheart Ishana. Nikhil meets a village girl Laajo who becomes a second woman in his life.

After this, he was seen as Ishaan in Zee TV's popular show Doli Armaano Ki as Ishaan Sinha. Vibhav's character replaced Mohit Malik's character Samrat as the lead. Ishaan fell in love with Samrat's wife Urmi.

Currently he is seen as Raj Kapoor on Star Plus's show Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan.
