FINAL CHAPTER -- PART 19
Next day after the wedding night, when Aastha woke up, she was lying in Shlok's arms. Both were naked and were cuddling under a blanket. She turned and looked ino her husband's face, the first thing in the morning. When she raised her hand, her bangles clinked. She stroked his stubbled cheek lovingly and he opened his eyes with a lovefilled gaze.Sh: (huskily) Aasthaaa..
Aastha smiled at him with a blushing face.
As: (softly) Shlok..
Shlok caught hold of her chin and moved his face forward. He sucked her red lips in such a gentle way that, Aastha let out a soft moan. He smiled at her and bit her lower lip deliciously. Aastha snaked her hands around his waist and dug her fingernails into his skin there.
Shlok buried his face in her neck and nuzzled along her throat.
Sh: I can't believe this is real, Aastha. You are mine forever. All this feels like a dream.
He raised his head and surveyed her with dreamy eyes. Aastha caressed his cheek lovingly and pushed his face towards her to bite his cheek naughtily.
Sh:(painfully) Owww..
As: (giggles playfully) See..this is real..
Sh:(excitedly) Oh really, Mrs. Aastha Shlok Menon..I will show you the reality now..
He began to tickle along the sides of her waist and Aastha squeeeled in delight. Soon, tears filled her eyes due to excess laughing and giggling.
As: Ooohhh..(laughs)Shlok..Please..Stoppp..(gigggles)
Shlok didn't stop for quite sometime and Aastha was tired and overwhelmed soon.
As: Sorrryyy...Shlok..(laughs)...
Shlok stopped tickling her and fell down back on to the bed on his back. Aastha was panting heavily and she turned towards him and started tickling him. Shlok laughed and laughed until his stomach hurt and he when he was fed up, he grabbed around her waist and pinned her on top of his body, so that she couldn't move. Aastha squirmed and thrashed inside his strong hold, but he was stronger than her.
As:(helplessly) I lose..You won..Now leave me..I have to freshen up and go downstairs to help Amma in the kitchen.
Sh: Not so soon..my dear wife..You have to pay for what you did just now..!
As: (surprised) What is this, Shlok..? You are not a small boy you know..So stop acting like one..
Sh: Yeah..right..And I I will show you what big boys like me do..
He rolled sideways and soon he was lying on top of her.
As: Shlok..Shlok..what are you..
Shlok silenced her with a kiss and inserted his tongue into her mouth. Aastha responded to the kiss with growing need and he removed the blanket covering their bodies and threw it to the ground. His one hand grasped around her breast and began to squeeze it softly. Aastha moaned in ecstacy while Shlok enjoyed the feel of her soft mound crushing under his grip. It was noon, Shlok arrived home from his supermarket store, to have lunch, as usual. Anjali was serving various food items into his plate. Shlok looked around for Aastha and she was not to be seen anywhere around.
Shlok: Amma..where is Aastha..?
An: She is in her room..was saying that she is not feeling well..
Sh: Oh..
After having his food, he climbed up the stairs and reached their bedroom. Aastha was lying on the bed with a tired face. She looked up when she saw Shlok and smiled at him feebly.
As: Shlok..you had your lunch..?
Sh: Hm..Amma said that you are not feeling well..what happened..?
As: I don't know..I was feeling a bit tired and sleepy..I was not feeling hungry..
Shlok felt her forehead with the back of his hand.
Sh: You are not having fever..Then what happened..?
As: (shyly)Shlok..I have a doubt..
Sh:(frowns) What kind of doubt..?
As: (softly and carefully)That I am pregnant..
Sh: (shocked) What..?!
But then Shlok's face broke into a wide and surprised grin.
Sh: What...?! Really.?!! Oh God..!
As: (smiling widely) Wait wait..Let us confirm this first..!
Shlok flopped down beside her hugged her in delight..
Sh: Ohhh..I am sooo sooo sooo happy for us Aastha..I am sure..you are pregnant..
******************After four years*****************
Courtyard of Shlok's ancestral house:
It was afternoon and Aastha was running after a 3 year old little girl with a stick i her hand. The girl was running fater and Aastha was finding it difficult to follow. Her name was Meenakshi, Shlok's daughter.
As:(shouts) Meenutty..I asked you to stop running..Otherwise I will..
Me: Ammaaa...you can't catch me..(giggles)
As: I will show you now..
Meenakshi was running around and around the huge courtyard and Aastha was really tired after sometime. She stopped running and bent down to touch her knees in defeat, panting heavily. Just then Shlok came home in his bike and saw that his mischievous daughter was tortuting Aastha. He dismounted the bike and ran to his cherubic little one. Aastha watched in delight, as Shlok scooped Meenakshi in his arms and she squeeled in delight.
Me : Achaaa..(malayalam word for calling father) (laughs hard) Leave me...
She was struggling to get off his grip and Aastha was laughing in delight. They reached near Aastha.
Me: Nooo..Amma will beat me..Please Achaaa..Let me run...
As: Shlok..dont leave her..
Sh: Meenakshi..what did you do..?
As: I will tell you..She is refusing to have food. She pushed away the serving dish and all the food fell on to the floor..That is why she is running away from me..
Shlok glared at Meenakshi in a fatherly way and she lowered her head feeling guilty.
Sh: (seriously)You must not do that again, Meenakshi..
Me: Hmm..
She pouted her lips in an innocent way and Shlok knew that she was going to cry.
Sh: Tell sorry to your amma..
Me:(looks at Aastha) Sorry..Amma..(tears filled her eyes)
And then then the dam burst and she started weeping badly.
Sh: (kissed her cheeks) Now dont be a cry baby, Meenu..You are a strong girl na..
As: Its ok Meenutty..Now stop crying..And yes, don't ever spill food..Its bad manners..
Meenakshi stopped crying and hugged Shlok.She rested her chin on his shoulder.
Sh: (smiling)Ok now Meenu's Achan(malayalam for father) and Meenutty will have food together and I will feed you with my hand.
Me: Ok..
Aastha smiled at both of them and they all walked inside.

In the evening, Jyoti and Siddharth came home for a visit with their 3 year old son Jishnu. Anjali and Meenakshi were standing at the verandah. As soon as Meenakshi saw her cousin brother she went and hugged him.
Jo: Meenutty..(gives her a kiss) this doll is for you..
Meenakshi took the doll from Jyoti's hand and kissed her back..
Me: Thank you..
And then she took Jishnu's hand and led him inside.
An: Meenutty, be a good girl and don't fight with your brother ok..
And then she bent down and kissed her grandson and then Meenu.
Me: Ok Achamma..

Shlok, Aastha, Jyoti, Siddharth and Anjali were sitting and chatting with each other in the nadumuttam (central courtyard ) . It was then that they heard the sound of Jishnu's crying.
Jyoti and Aastha rushed to the kids play room. When Jishnu saw Jyoti, he came running to her and hugged her.
Ji: (weeping) Ammaaa...
As: What happened Jishnuttaa..?
Jishnu pointed his index finger towards Meenakshi and spoke in between his sobs.
Ji: Meenutty bit my arm...(wails loudly again, showing the red mark on his arm)
As:(glaring at Meenu) Meenuutyyy...
Meenakshi also started crying seeing her mother's angry eyes.
Me: He broke my new doll, which Jyoti aunty gave me..
It was Jyoti's turn to glare at her son.
Jo: What is this, Jishnutta..?
Anjali came inside just then and pacified both the kids and they stopped crying and started to play with each other happily.
