Film with SRK & Alia isn't a typical love story: Gauri Shinde

Gauri Shinde's film grabbed headlines after Karan Johar announced that the film will star Shah Rukh Khan along with Alia Bhatt. Grapevines were buzz where most people called it one of the biggest and also weirdest casting coups ever. SRK and Alia romancing each other? Doesn't seem interesting, given the age gap between the two actors.

Gauri Shinde who's kept mum on the topic finally broke her silence and gave us an insight into what the film might be about. "All I can say is that the film isn't a typical love story. It's not about a romantic relationship in the usual manner that a man and a woman share."

Why Alia? "I am happy to have cast her. I am rather very pleased with the casting. It's a different story for sure so you all will get to see it soon." But Alia recently confessed that she's intimidated by SRK's presence. "That's great for her. She must be intimidated. We all should be intimated by each other," Gauri laughs it off.

The film which has 'still not been named' will go on floors in November this year.
