Shoba...oh...you reminded me of the best (read worse)thing about florence...the absence of Fig leaves...hehe... 😆 😆 😆
Anyways...personally i dint enjoy their absence so much...and constantly wished that the fig leaf painter or the crazy Pope with his destructive hammer had made their way up to Florence (if you know what I am referring to).

Well my husband's tip to people who dont enjoy art but have to accompany their spouse on the trips to the thousand and one museums in Italy is to count the number of paintings and statues without fig leaves in Rome and with in Florence. Apparently that is what kept him going during my visits to the musees...hehe...
