I was juz wondering..correct me if i'm wrong...even the most modern families in the west dont call their parents by their names....so how come the Thakrals do? how modern are they...

Yea, I thought that part was a bit overdramatic too.. yet I guess there may be some modern families who wud do that 🤔

Only people with step parents in the west call them by their names.....why would someone call their mom and dad by their first names...these serials overdo the modern lifestyle

Yeah...they overdo these types of things...i mean seriously...who calls their parents by their names? I dont even call my parents' friends by their names 😳 ....it's def. unrealistic

ya ur rite...ppl in the west call their stepparents by name.....noone calls their own parents by name....well i guess i agree with all u ppl here.....indian serials..sigh!
