My first SS ever:Madhubala's Revenge

The day of Madhu and RK's wedding finally came.The two of them were excited,both in a different way.RK was happy.He finally settled all matters with Madhu and happiness was on his way.Many times before he had his doubts but this time no.He won't let anyone ruin his happiness,he won't let anyone come between him and Madhu.He saw what was happening now as a second chance in life.He blew it two times,he didn't want anything to spoil it this third time,no way.He had learn his lesson well.Madhu was now a part of his life,a part which somehow he still secretly feared he would lose.He knew what he had done.He didn't deserve her.But he had his whole life to correct his mistake and never let Madhu regret that she forgave him and married him.

Madhu was in a different mood.She wanted to go on with her plan,but she had her doubts."Maybe he'll change"-she thought.Right then the opposite thought came "If he wanted to change,he should've respected me and not drag me into this house by force.He never thought of how I feel,and what hurts me.He wanted to make my life a living hell,he did it by marrying me.He hated me,he humiliated me.He deceived me and then he threw me away.And then when he wanted me he took me by force.He never cared about me but himself!He never loved me,he doesn't love me even now.It has always been about him,him,him and only him!"-she thought bitterly.But still...She fought with herself the whole day.In the end the bitterness and hurt took over the victory."No,he has to understand.He has to.I'm gonna make him understand!"-she thought and started preparing for the wedding.

The whole world gathered to see RK and Madhu's wedding.This was suppose to be the the great reconciliation between the two.The proof of their great love.Everybody was convinced that finally things were right between them.The only one who didn't think like that was Madhu.When she appeared in front of everyone she looked so beautiful in her wedding saree.When RK saw her he was stunned.He had lost his words.Madhu had a seductive glimpse in her eyes.She knew that RK believed her completely.He was ready to be broken.She finally smiled.RK spoke first "-Biwi...I don't know how I'm gonna breathe with you next to me.You take my breath away." "-Should we skip the ceremony then?"-she smiled and looked at him mysteriously. "Aaa,na,biwi,na.Let us do the ceremony as we should.Let me marry you right this time."-he said putting his hands on her face.

"-But how can you marry me when you didn't even propose?"-she said and smiled with her beautiful smile looking at him straight in his eyes.

"-You're right"-he said fast and moved away from her."Wait here!"He put her in front of the mandap and he loudly said:

"-Ladies and gentlemen!Before we go on with the rituals there's something I must do!"-he announced.Then he turned and stretching his hand towards her,getting down on his knees,and with love in his eyes and tenderness in his voice he said:"-Madhu,will you marry me?"

Madhu was still smiling.Suddenly her face got stern and a strange glitter was in her eyes.Everyone's look was on her.She came little bit nearer to RK and said to him with a firm voice:"-NAHI!" "What??"-shock as on everyone's faces as they started wispering.RK's face got confused.That was the last thing he expected to hear."-Madhu"-he got up-"What's the matter?I don't understand...What is going on?"...Madhu's face was still stern."-I gave you my answer,Mr.Rishab Kundra.I will not marry you!" "Madhu..."-RK still had problem believing what Madhu was saying and was still confused-"Yeh kya mazak hai?" "-Yeh mazak nahi hai,RK!-she said with louder voice."I will not marry you!" Her face got even more stern and the anger that was in her heart started to show in her every move. "-What did you think?"-she continued."By dragging someone in your home and forcing him to stay with you,you will make him forgive and forget?You think you can play with people's lives?And did you really think that I will give you a chance to play with mine after all that you have put me through?...Never,Mr.Rishab Kundra!NEVER!" RK was in shock.His eyes were filled with disbelief with every move she made and every word that came out of her mouth.He couldn't find the right words..."-Madhu,yeh kya pagalpan hai..." "-Pagalpan hai,Mr.Rishab Kundra"-she interrupted him,"pagalpan hai!...It was madness when I started believing that a stone-hearted man like you,a man with so big ego could learn to love someone like me.It was madness when I thought that there is something human in you,that there is a true and lovable person behind all the masks that you put on yourself!But I was wrong! There is no Rishab Kundra,he doesn't exist!You are only RK,the superstar!And nothing more!

"Madhu please come down"-he tried to reason with her."Why are you saying this?Why are you behaving like this with me?I know I made a mistake in the past,but I thought that that was far..." "-Mistake?Galat?-she interrupted him again watching him with her big eyes wide open."As I remember Mr.Rishab Kundra"-she continued,"what happened between us wasn't a mistake.That was your great triumph over me.You enjoyed seing my heart broken,you mocked my tears,you humiliated my love every chance you had and you believed that I could let go of that so easily?That I would just forget?That I would consider your behaviour as galat?No,Mr.Rishab Kundra.You are wrong." She moved away from RK who watched her silently and started talking again "...-That night"-the tone of her voice was full with bitterness and despair,"I put my dreams in front of you.You let me dream with you and then you decided to turn my dreams into my worst nightmare.That night I was so grateful because after all the bad things that happened to me,I thought that would finally see a light in my life.A life of love with you...And you...You showed me the greatest darkness"... As she was speaking,RK's face changed from a man who's confused to a man who has a deep regret in his heart.Her words and the way she said them pierced his heart and now it was his heart that was bleeding,not hers. "I didn't need anything else.I didn't want anything...Nothing"-she said those words looking at RK almost with begging in her eyes.Then her face changed and she got her stern face again. "But back then-she said,"I didn't know who I was dealing with.You've shown me your true face.Your cold and merciless heart.You've played your game pretty well.You've shown me what a skillful and talented actor you are."She started clapping.

RK was in disbelief,in shock,his heart was in denial that something like this could happen and that Madhu is behaving like this.He was confused by the mixed feelings he had:the surprise of Mahdu's behaviour and words,the disappointment and disbelief that she actually didn't forgive him,and then last,the guilt that he had because he actually deserved what was happening to him.Everything was creating in him such an emotive chaos,that he just found strength to capture Madhu by her shoulders with his two hands and to say these words that came as a result of his deep regret "Madhu...Please"-his eyes,although he didn't expect it,started filling with tears."Please"-he repeated "I know what I did was wrong.I'm so sorry.Please...Please forgive me...Please!Let's start a new life together,forget everything that happened.Please stop all this"-he begged.

But Madhu's eyes showed that his words didn't have any effect on her.On the contrary,her big eyes and stern face got another expression and now irony was in her eyes. "What's the matter Mr.Rishab Kundra?-she said with such irony that RK immediately let her go and was in disbelief. "What kind of game are you now playing?" Her ironic words were like a knives that were stabbing in his heart,one by one."Which face are you trying to show me now?...Do you remember what did you said to me that night.You said that "acting is your profession,your daal roti,chicken aur scotch hai!"...Remember?So what is this now?What are you trying to pull off?" RK desperately grabbed her again with his both hands "This is not an act!Madhu please believe me..." "I did believe you,I did"-she got away from his embrace angrily "I did...once.And never again.I will never believe a word you're saying.You never loved me.You never respected me.You think you love me now?You have never loved anyone but yourself!From the very beginning you wanted to destroy my life.You trapped me into marriage but I could handle it.I have put up your humiliations,your deeds,your insults towards my family,everything!Then when I saw that you are a human being with hurts and that you too suffer,I started to love you.I loved you.I really did.But the man that I loved doesn't exist.You've shown me that.You broke me.You torn me into little pieces.Now,I have something for you." She went and from the table next to her and from the little box she took out several broken green bracelets. "When we were in the village"-she continued with softer voice,"I thought that I was the luckiest girl in the world.Being there among those people who had nothing,I felt like I'm the richest person in the world.And you know why?Because I had you. ...You were my everything.When the people gave me these bracelets,they told me that all their blessings are with us and they told me not to worry,that from now on everything is going to be ok with my marriage.If they only knew..."-her eyes got filled with tears-"If they only knew what you planned to do the very next day...that the very next day those bracelets would break..."-the tears now were falling across Madhu's face.She couldn't continue.RK was speechless.He had no excuse.He had nothing to say in his defence.His heart was broken when he saw Madhu's tears.He wanted to touch her,to hold her in his embrace,to hold her tight and never let her cry again.He came near her,but his move seemed like it had awaken Madhu and she soon came to her senses,she wiped her tears away and looked RK straight in his eyes. "You remember what you told me that night?I remember one sentence.I will remember it as long as I live."Some broken bracelets.And some broken dreams!"That is what you told me!So this is for you.These are my broken dreams"-she gave him the bracelets."You can take them with you.You cannot put together what you have broken.You can't put together the pieces of my broken heart.A heart which you yourself broke.Now I'm the one who doesn't have a heart!"

"No Madhu,no!Please don't talk like that.Let me heal your wounds.Give me a chance to mend your heart.Please!"

"-No!I have to stay away from you!I have to forget you!I don't want to see you anymore!I am leaving and this time forever!Goodbye RK!"-Madhu started going away from the mandap while all the people around still couldn't believe what was happening.RK started begging her "Please don't go,please Madhu" but she didn't want to turn around.Anger arouse in his heart and he grabbed her by her hand-"-Madhubala Rishab Kundra!" A fire of anger was now in his eyes and it seemed that it could consume everything and everyone that was around him. "Why don't you want to hear me out?-he yelled.Bitterness came to his heart and he continued quietly but with the same fire "-You used all this to hurt me.You planned all a long this game to get even with me,didn't you?" Madhu's eyes now were filled with surprise.She looked at him with disgust but she removed his hand firmly and said quietly "Mr.Rishab Kundra.You yourself made me this way.It's your fault,not mine.You don't have the right to hate me.And no matter what happened tonight,we are different you and I.You said to me that night that you lived only to get even with me remember?I'm nothing like you!I don't plan revenge against people I love like you do.I didn't live to get even with you.I lived to only show you how it is to be you!And now you know."

Her words left RK without words.He wanted to say something,to stop Madhu from leaving somehow,but he heard screems "Radhaji!Radhaji!" Radha felt unconscious.RK hurried to help her.Bittu and the others pulled her up and gave her water.RK turned.He tried to find Madhu in the whispering crowd but it was too late.Madhu was gone.
