Ganesh raised a big hue and cry that Sareen had slapped him and filed a police complaint at Goregaon East police station. Sareen was called by the cops and reprimanded for it.
Attitude problem
The director of the show Devdutt says, "Amit was sitting with some actors in the make-up room. I was shooting a very important bidaai scene with Barkha Bisht, which required pin-drop silence. Ganesh simply asked them to keep quiet.
At this, Amit started arguing with him and raised his hand." Devdutt adds, "Amit has been showing attitude for a while. We were taking it in our stride, but not anymore!"
Sareen admits that the unit folks ganged up to file a complaint against him. "But I did not slap Ganesh. If I wanted to create a scene, I could have done it when he asked us to shut up. My problem was that he used abusive language.
In fact, when I put my hand on his shoulder to explain, he pushed me. So, I too pushed him. Before I could blink, he raised a false alarm that I had slapped him," he says.
"These unit guys wanted to make an issue out of nothing and they made it."
