Part 40: The Apple In Snow White's Throat!

PART 29: Peace!

Khushi was standing in the kitchen wearing just the vest Arnav was wearing. It reached her mid thigh covering her yet not covering her. She was making coffee as her thoughts flew back to few hours ago.

After making love both Arnav and Khushi slept tired of all the day activity of touring Ooty. Khushi lay on his chest wrapped securely in his arms. But as she tried to stretch herself in sleep, a needle like pain made her Hiss which made Arnav jump out of his deep sleep. He saw her frowning in sleep and woke her up.

Arnav: Kuku?

She slowly opened her hazel orbs only to meet the chocolate orbs that were flowing with concern and love for her. Was it guilt that flickered there for a second?

Khushi: What is it Annu?

Arnav: Did.. I.. Hurt you? I mean..

He kept hesitating. Khushi understood and smiled wide. Her buddhu husband thought that he has hurt her while he gave her the best moment of life. so now she had to assure her husband that she is perfectly fine.

Khushi: Arnav! You can never hurt me.

Saying she held his face and tried to adjust herself in his hold. But the pain below her abdomen shot again making her frown.

Arnav: But you are in pain. Wait! Are you sour?

Khushi(Chuckling): hmm. Yeah. Isn't it obvious after what we did few hours before?

Now both chuckled.

Arnav: Now you sound Pakka like my roadside Juliet Mrs. Raizada!

Khushi: After all I am wide of Roadside Romeo Mr. Raizada!

Both laughed out loud but she again frowned. Arnav left her in the bed and wore his robe.

Arnav: wait here!

Saying he moved to the washroom while Khushi sat with back to headboard covering herself in a bedsheet. Within few minutes Arnav came and carried her removing the bedsheet making Khushi shy and she hid her face in his chest.

Khushi: Where are you taking me?

Arnav: you will know!

They entered the bathroom and Arnav placed Khushi in the Jacuzzi there which had warm water. First when Khushi's lower body touched the warm water, she hissed as the pain hit her again. But she calmed as Arnav settled her safely and joined in the tub whispering sweet nothings in her ears. He kept massaging her down there to ease her which soon turned into something else. Soon they were exploring each other in the bath tub while Arnav took her from behind making her gasp at this new sensation.

Soon she felt someone snaking arms around her waist.

Arnav: Thinking of me Kuku?

Arnav woke up there in bedroom only to see that his arms were empty. He turned to see bathroom empty too. He looked at the clock which showed time as 15 minutes to 4. He wondered at this time where can his Kuku go. He saw around bed to locate his clothes that they discarded during their love making. There he found his tracks but his vest was missing. So he wore his tracks over his boxers and moved down in search of his WIFE. He saw light coming from kitchen and as he moved in that direction only to see his wife drinking coffee that too absent mindedly. But the color in her cheeks gave him the clue of about what she is thinking.

So he silently went behind her and sneaked his arm on her waist. As he did that he understood that she is wearing only his shirt. She was looking more sexy in his shirt. That very thought made him go hard with need for her within seconds.

Khushi: aha! Arnav. What is this? Leave me!

Arnav: Never! What are you doing here? And what is it at this time?

Khushi: Ermm. I was feeling hungry.

Arnav: for which you made coffee at this time? Are you mad?

Khushi: Err. I have heard that coffee will give strength and reduce tiredness

Arnav: Researching are we Mrs. Raizada?

Khushi: Will you please shut up Mr. Raizada?

Arnav: come with me. Sit and have your coffee relaxing!

Saying he took her to the dining table and asked her to sit. But as soon as she sat, she stood up. She looked here and there and finally brought a cusion from the living room and sat on the chair placing the cusion. Arnav kept looking at her smiling amusedly.

Arnav: why are you sitting like this?

Khushi: Err.. Nothing!

Arnav: sourness is still kicking?

Khushi looked down to hide the crimson that is creaping on her face and neck. But unexpectedly he pulled her to him. She looked at him questioningly as he sat in the chair. And again he suddenly pulled her on his lap making her gasp.

Arnav: ab teek hai?

Is it fine now?

Khushi: hmm.

Saying she started sipping the coffee. While he kept looking her making her all nervous as his hands were drawing lazy patterns on her exposed thigh. She felt his hot breath near her ears and her lips quivered as he whispered.

Arnav: is it enough if you drink the coffee and gain strength?

Khushi: what?

Arnav: I also need strength for.. You know What!!

Saying he winked making Khushi go more reddish if possible.

Khushi: Besharam!

Arnav: no Gaalis in Tamil?

Khushi: Hey Ram. What kinda husband I have got who is behind me to get gaalis from me!

She lamented making Arnav choke his laugh who was silently having coffee from her mug.

Arnav: And What kinda a wife I have got who is not ready to scold her husband who is readily accepting it while all other wives wait for such chances. Duniya mein ese awaaz mein milti cheezon ke koi value hi nahi hoti. Teek kaha dadi ne.

... Dadi was right. People don't value things that are loud!

Khushi: What the? Awaaz? Loud?

Arnav: I mean easy, awaaz! Wait. Don't say its wrong again!

Khushi(Laughing): It is. Its not Awaaz, but Asaan. OMG! THE ASR is a Duck in Hindi, his own 1^st language. BREAKING NEWS!

Arnav(Glaring): shut up Kuku. I was not in India at all first. Still I manage Hindi.

Khushi: U shut up Annu! I was not in Tamil Nadu too. Still my Tamil is good and I was not in India too, still My Tamil and Hindi are Better!

Arnav: you were not In India?

He was beyond any thought. Khushi was never in India! Which means that in Abroad anything could have happened. Even an exchange! But Arnav was sure that this Khushi. His heart and Mind started battling.

Khushi: Yes. Mami was not ready to have me with them initially. So I was shifted to Melbourne under the care of Mama's friends there. I don't remember much about it now. But till I knew myself clearly, I was there only. Once in a month Mama used to come to meet me. Initially with mama another man used to come too. Who used to see me but I was never allowed to meet him because Mama always said that he is no one to us and we cannot meet such strangers. So I never insisted.

Arnav fisted his palms recalling how enthusiastically his Dadaji used to go somewhere once in a month and return dejected. So his Dadaji went to Melbourne to meet Khushi. Which means he knew about it! Arnav got to know that there was more story behind than what was said to him. He had to investigate it.but for now, he had to take care of khushi.

Arnav: Hmm. That's strange! Why will a stranger come to meet you this frequently? Don't you think your Mama's statement is lacking something?

Khushi: you mean Mama is cheating?

Khushi's expression changed much than Arnav could think. This much that Daksh had fed into his Kuku's mind.

Arnav: No Kuku. I just said what I felt. Waise don't you think that we have had enough coffee? Shouldn't we check the strength we gained darling?

Khushi(smacked his shoulder): Besharam! You drank from my mug!

Arnav: What is yours, is mine too. As you yourself are mine!

Saying he winked and carried her in his arms to their bedroom.

Khushi: Arnav! This is too much. Its not much time and you are taking me for the 3^rd session!

Arnav: you are counting? Unbelievable! And we can do as we wish and as much we can! Now Shut up and let me concentrate or get ready to face the WILD ME!

Saying he threw a giggling Khushi on the bed and there goes their never ending Love making.

Soon it was afternoon. Khushi wore a beautiful Grey and red Anarkali looking all beautiful making Arnav gulp. Both got into the car as Arnav drove.

Arnav: Khushi! Why do you have to wear something like this? Hell how will I drive now having a diversion sitting next to me?

Khushi(Laughing): Should I drive Mr. Raizada?

Arnav: I want to reach home safely Mrs. Raizada and I want my car to be safe too. I still remember how you parked your car! So better sit without disturbing more.

They kept their banter up as they reached Main city of Coimbatore in 3 hours. It was evening as they reached the main city and it was past 6 30 as they reached outskirts and their roadway to the estate area where between many greenery was hid their own sanctuary.

SHANTI BAVANAM!

The arch welcomed them seeing which Khushi's mind triggered something!

Little Khushi and Little Arnav were studying for their next day paper. It was hindi exam. Elders were discussing name for the new home they are building near coimbatore.

Arjun: Raj! Lets name them after our wives!

Anjali: No bhai! Name it after our kids!

Rajiv: Name them after our amma and bauji!

Pratap: NO! don't use our name. I want the home to be named after our kids. What say Devyani ji?

Devyani the understanding wife nodded smiling.

Suddenly little Khushi ran to anjali.

Khushi: amma! What is Shanti?

Anjali: Shanti means peace!

Khushi: But peace means Shanti in Tamil. But this is hindi!

Rajiv: Haan Khushi bitiya. There are words that are common in both language!

Khushi(sulking): if words are same then languages are different? And confusing me! Huh!!!!

Saying she moved to study. Arjun Anjali and Rajiv laughed at little Khushi lamenting. But avantika came with bright smile.

Avantika: Raj bhai, your daughter has come up with a brilliant idea. We are from different cultures. Anjali anni is Tamil, I am from Punjab, you all are lucknowi. Still we all live with peace. So why don't we name it after peace? SHANTI BHAVAN?

Anjali: SHANTI BHAVANAM! Brilliant idea Bhabhi!

Avantika: we ladies are always brilliant!

Rajiv: Ye lo! This is said by the one who put salt instead of sugar in my morning tea!

Arjun: And the one who writes tree for Three!

Anjali: Aww? I did that because you annoyed me in morning!

Avantika: I wrote? It was your son who wrote your dictation as I had to cook!

The kids who saw all these hit their head!

Arnav: See kuku! We gave them idea. Still they are fighting!

Khushi: How can they not Annu? Do we stop fighting?

Arnav: you fight! Not me!

Khushi: YOU!

Arnav: YOU!

Khushi: Shut up!

Arnav: You Shut up!

One side elders kept fighting and other side Kids too kept fighting. Still they were all together becoming pillars for each other!

Khushi: Our Idea to name this as SHANTI BHAVANAM! ANNU!

Arnav: YES

He just smiled. He knows that this was again a flash! He should patiently wait till she gains her childhood memories completely as his Dadaji said. And he was sure that his Kuku will remember her Annu comepletly soon. Memories can never be lost after all!

Satisfied? I mean have i done better after the long break?
