Arnav: Aman! Have your ideas to yourself. There is no way I am letting Khushi meet him again! You know right what he did to her.

Aman: I know ASR and unless Khushi sees it herself, it will be difficult to prove to her otherwise. We cannot let her live in dilemma all her life.

Arnav: I am not risking her for anything. ANY-DAMN-THING! DO YOU GET THAT?

Aman: I get it. Its you who should get things. Think of it with more cool and calm mind. Here, the documents. Read the clauses, then you and Khushi sign it so that I will get it registered as per the date stated by Rajiv and Arjun uncle.

Arnav just gave him a blank look and stormed out with Khushi's milk only to find her running around the room like headless chicken.

Arnav: Khushi? What are you doing? Khushi.. KUKU CAREFUL!

He steadied her as she went straight onto him without noticing him completely startling her.

Khushi: Annu!

Arnav: Yes! What are you doing? Jinxing the room?

Khushi: Searching for my mobile charger!
Arnav: Its just in the plug near the dresser! Open your eyes Kuku!

Khushi: Oh enough of that Annu. I did not notice.

Arnav: I can see that. Here have this and come let us sleep. We had a tiring day.

Khushi: Hardly! This mobile died on me when I wanted it to stay!

Arnav: And why was that?

He eyed Khushi who now was drinking the milk trying to hide from him. He sighed and plugged her mobile to the charger switching it ON. And immediately it flashed a message. Khushi rushed to it.

COME TO CHENNAI AIRPORT TOMORROW.. THERE'S A LOT FOR YOU TO KNOW

She immediately fathomed that the message was from her Mama. Khushi looked from her mobile only to see Arnav who was looking at her with a raised brow.

Khushi: Well. You are right. We should sleep.

Arnav: Kuku..

Khushi: I am tired Arnav. I don't want anything other than sleeping in your arms at this moment. I don't want us to fight nor I want to have those dreams. Please. Today is not worth the torture. It was a beautiful day!

Releasing a sigh, Arnav scooped her up in one move and laid her on bed. When a flash of the amicable moment passed in his thoughts, he happily joined her in the bed and held her possessively pulling her to him promising himself that, he will never let any savage touch her again, completely clueless that sometimes he will left with no choice when oblivion will make you do mistakes.

Hugging her possessively he uttered by turning her facing towards him.

Arnav: Khushi, even if the world goes upside down, I will never let anything hurt you.

She answered by cupping his cheeks with her delicate ones.

Khushi: I know ANNU

Arnav: No You don't Khushi. You may hear the words come out of my lips, but not the ardor cries from my heart.

Khushi: ANNU.. I may not hear those cries, but I can understand the reflection of those in your eyes.

An unknown emotion of fear kicked him at that moment. Notwithstanding the unfamiliar pull, Arnav kissed her on her forehead while she pecked on his jawline and drifted into slumber within few peaceful minutes completely oblivious about what is awaiting for them in the following day.

Next morning Arnav woke up only to find Khushi missing from her side. He jerked up and ran his glance all over the room searching for her as he was feeling so restless since he saw the message. He felt that something was not right. Then he noticed the bedside clock showing 7:30 in the morning. He pulled himself up to carry on with the daily routine. Well, he did not know that nothing would go per routine that day!

Arnav was going through the files that needed his attention in his office during midday when Aman came barged into his office panting heavily receiving Arnav's questioning glare.

Aman: Just now got information from Mumbai. Daksh Rajan has moved a lump sum from his bank account.

Arnav: And?

Aman: Some of the amount has been given to the caretaker of his private Muttukadu island house and other has gone to the electric fence building contractor and..

Arnav: Spit it out dammit!

Aman: Shyam Jha, his lawyer!

Arnav: When did all this happen?

Arnav questioned worriedly by raking his hand in his hair with frustration.

Aman hesitated to answer him seeing his boss's current irritated mood which made Arnav go red. He punched his table with his fist as he stood up glowering at Aman.

Arnav: AMAN BHATNAGAR ANSWER ME DAMN IT?

Aman stuttered while answering expecting an earful from his boss.

Aman: It ..It all happened in last 4 days. And we also got the information that Daksh has left Mumbai yesterday with his wife leaving Aran Rajan to deal with the business.

Instantly Arnav remembered the message in Khushi's mobile making all the pieces of the puzzle falling into their place.

Arnav: Aman, did you check his flight details?

Aman: We are waiting for the information.

Arnav: Damn! I knew it! He is on move. He is planning something.. KHUSHI!!

His heart screamed her name with desperation

Arnav: He is planning to hook Khushi!. Arnav murmured.

Aman: Relax ASR. As I said, let her get answers from him herself.

Arnav: Like Hell! Don't you realize.. He will kill her!

Aman: He is only behind the property ASR. Get Khushi's signatures on the documents. When he realizes that he is late..

Arnav: HE WILL KILL HER DAMN IT! HE WILL KILL HER!

Arnav yelled interrupting Aman by running his palms on his hair.

Aman: We will not let him go that far. I will make our men follow them.

Arnav rushed out with Aman on his tow and both men rode to AR mansion immediately. Arnav practically ran to their room leaving Aman wait in the car outside, only to find Khushi packing a bag.

His eyes narrowed and his worried lines creased up on his forehead. Unable to derive anything from what she is doing, he questioned her.

Arnav : Where are you going Khushi?

Wiping away the perspiration formed on her forehead with her husband's sudden arrival, she tried to answer him, but words rejected to come out.

Not liking her silence in this tortured moment, he sprinted towards her and held her upper arm tight and asked.

Arnav : ANSWER ME DAMN IT!

Khushi : ANNU, I .. I .. Am

Arnav : You are going to meet your Mama. Am I right?

Khushi: I have to go ANNU

Arnav: For god's sake why don't you understand Khushi. I cannot let you meet him.

Khushi: ANNU.. I have to go

Arnav: No you are not leaving this house. He is planning to kill you KUKU.

Khushi: ANNU.. I have full faith in you. You never let anything even touch me. Let me go to find my answers ANNU

Arnav: Khushi.. He is not the one you saw all these years. You will get your answers. I will file a corporate complaint. I have all details about his illegal dealings with Mumbai underworld. He can be arrested and once he is at safe distance behind bars, you can question him and I will see to that he answers. But NOT LIKE THIS.. DAMN IT.

Arnav paced the room feeling so helpless. But Khushi stood there doing nothing and saying nothing.

Arnav: Khushi.. Kuku..

Khushi: Arnav! I have heard your side and its only fair I hear Mama's side too and with Mami beside us he is not going to hurt me. And I would like you to give the file about his illegal dealings!

Arnav: why?

Khushi: Well, you blackmailed him with it to get married to me and its only fair that you either destroy it or give it to him. May be it will help him talk to me better!

Arnav came to her and stood in front of her.

Arnav: so you have made up your mind that you are going to meet him. Even if it is against my words?

Khushi: I am not going against you! I just want us to be at peace. I don't want to be uncertain of my life anymore.

Arnav's face lost its tenderness and his chocolate brown eyes turned to hard that made him look so distant to her which was something beyond bearable.

Arnav: In that case, I will have to get your signatures in these papers before you go to your Mama or his S.. Family.

Arnav presented her the file with the property papers for her to sign. Just by seeing the names in it, Khushi understood that it was the papers that Daksh mentioned today morning in his call.

Daksh: Khushi ma, don't fall into their trap. Did they ever tell you that you are the sole heir of nearly 800 crore property in Tamil Nadu? They are trying to get that from you and all this sham of marriage was all for the same purpose. Just get to me safely and I will explain everything to you.

Something in Khushi broke seeing Arnav wanting her to sign over her properties. But still she signed it without reading it in detail and thrusted it in his hands looking at him with equally distance glare.

Khushi: Hope Now I am free to go.

As she took her bag and marched out of the house Arnav followed her. At the threshold where both of them happily took step to happiness, now they stood at the verge of shattering. Arnav held her hand from behind. He tried to say something

Khushi: Don't mind seeing me off. I can manage my way. Once I find my answers and if you still want me in your life, you can call me! But you cannot stop me now. 25 years of being in dark is really enough. Now I want to see light and know who is who for me all for myself. BYE!

saying she called out to Madhan to drive her to Coimbatore Airport leaving back Arnav all alone.
