Stop guys. You are making me very hungry. The things you mentioned are not even available where I live😭. I had Medhu Vada last weekend. Yumm yumm but even I was wondering why its just the same 3 dishes being cooked everyday at Iyer house. They did mention curd rice a few times in the show.

Firstly not all South Indians are Madrasis/Tamilians. We have Kannadigas, Telgites, Keralites and they all belong to the south part of India, but yes Iyers are Tamilians. I am an Iyer too but I have vada max thrice in an year. Also in our custom Vada is never prepared on happy/auspicious occasions like Marriage. We definitely do not eat Idli everyday, that too for lunch. We live on rice mostly, rather lived for even we are turning health conscious and including roti/chapati in our daily life.
But on a different note, Tamil is probably the most exposed South Indian language and may be thus this reference to all South Indians as Madrasis. Also cinematic liberty does allow them to stereotype/typecast people, be it the Punjabis or South Indians.

The contrast is mostly shown between Punjabis and Tamilians. It will be nice if people start experimenting with other parts of India as well.

Oh, i did not know that Thaali means the locket itself. As I said, my knowledge comes from my friends. Now that you have mentioned, I realize that all of them are anyway wearing it with a black and gold beads waala mangalsutra ... so I thought thaali is something which comes together ...

As you mentioned, Ishita is wearing it in the serial but since it was with a gold chain ... I totally failed to notice it. Thank you for clearing the doubt dear friend.

P.S.: I also feel that Ishita looked nice in her chooridars. She should get back to wearing them or at least have a mixed bag of clothes in her wardrobe like a normal urban Indian lady will have.

After all, she is a Dentist who is the wife of a CEO. Kuch to pati ke paise ka kharcha kare ... 😆😆😆

No worries. Thats the whole point of the show right, introducing us to new cultures 😊
Considering Ishu jo Parmeete ke liye loan le rhi thi instead of asking Raman, isi liye cost cutting kr rhi he😆 😆
Raman the kanjus CEO can't get a new cupboard for his wife. Ek hi he uske liye ladai bhi krte he 😆
phir to yehi hoga na
