29th May 1988 is the day the most beautiful angel was born. 🥳

Surbhi Jyoti, hot, cute, vivacious, bubbly, effervescent and full of life. She oozes happiness wherever she goes. With that pretty face and gorgeous smile that can light up the world she makes everyone want to love her more and more. She is an amazing actress with great acting skills that makes her character as lively and real as it can be. She started her career in Punjab, having starred in many Punjabi television series; with her mind blowing acting skills she slowly entered into Punjabi movies giving her best becoming more and more popular. What can we say about her acting? When she cries she makes the viewers cry with her, when she laughs she makes everyone laugh. Even after doing a number of Punjabi shows she garnered a lot of appreciation for her acting as "Zoya Farooqui" in the show "Qubool Hai".

The bubbly and lively Zoya managed to capture a million hearts. She managed to bring the character to life even after being a typical Punjaban playing a muslim role wasn't a herculean task for Surbhi Jyoti. Zoya Farooqui was Surbhi Jyoti and everyone can agree no one would have been better suited for the role. Not only males but even females are a fan of her persona; not to forget that dazzling smile and killer dimples "jo kisi ka bhi katl kar sakte hai." Her scintillating chemistry with her co-star Karan Singh Grover was the cherry on the top making thousands of fans gaga over them. That pretty face and killer smile will definitely be the face of Indian Television. We wish her congratulations on all that she has achieved and we pray for her to achieve much more. Today is the day when a stunning and talented dimpled beauty was born. A wonderfully gifted girl with the 100 watt dimpled smile that takes the breath away with her brilliant portrayal of the modern, vibrant and fun loving Zoya Farooqui in the popular Zee TV show "Qubool Hai", she has stolen hearts of not just men but also women with her spunky and cheerful personality.

We are talking about the vivacious punjabi kudi who can truly be called as "Beauty with Brains and Talent" our very own adorable Sona .AKA. Surbhi Jyoti. Born and raised in Jalandhar,Punjab. This punjaban is not only naturally beautiful and talented but also very intelligent, she completed her schooling from Shiv Jyoti Public School, Jalandhar then completed her graduation from HMP (Hansraj Morarji Public College). From a young age and till date, Surbhi is known to be a very talkative girl which is very obvious from the fact that she is an active debater and has won the National Debate Championship three times out of which two times, she even spoke on the topic women's empowerment. Later, She did her MA in English from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. And from the past seven years, Surbhi Jyoti has been performing in theatre.

She pursued her passion for acting with the full support of her family by further venturing into the Punjabi television industry and later featuring in many popular Punjabi films like Akiyaan To Door Jayen Na, Raula Pai Gaya, Kach Diyan Wanga and Munde Patiale De. She caught the eye of the talented young director Gul Khan and immediately bagged the lead role in Qubool hai due to her god given acting skills and her hard working nature. It was one of the best moments in her life and she even watched many Pakistani TV shows to prepare for her role of a modern and lively Muslim girl. From then on, there was no looking back for this exceptional actress as she gained wide appreciation for her natural and relatable portrayal of the new age, spirited and determined NRI Zoya Farooqui.

Surbhi often says, Zoya is much like herself. She is mischievous, a prankster and messy though Surbhi is not quite as messy as Zoya in real life. Though her image is a of bubbly and talkative girl who can go on and on from one topic to another in front of the world, Surbhi has another side to herself which is known to be quite professional and mature in regards to her work. She considers herself to be serious, opinionated and have strong views on matters that are close to her heart. Surbhi is quite a tomboy at heart, a girl who preferred to watch reality shows over serials and is one of the most ardent cricket fans knowing more about cricket than most other guys. However Surbhi is a fabulous dancer, a shoe-a-olic and a foodie who hates pizza (the main difference between her and Zoya)

Surbhi and all of us consider ourselves to be very lucky that our adored Miss.Zoya Farooqui is played by her and her first ever stint on Indian television is on the wonderful show, Qubool hai where she is cast opposite the hot, handsome and ever so charming Karan Singh Grover. Her chemistry with KSG set the screens on fire garnering fans not in India from all corners of the world. Truly she is a lucky child indeed whose popularity has grown more and more by every passing second yet she still is the same simple, frank and down-to-earth bindaas girl. We love her for all her lovely dimpled smiles, her dazzling beauty, her superb acting skills, her masti-kor and bindaas funda on life offscreen, her non-stop chatterbox habits and much more.

You're also such an amazing actress. I fell in love with Zoya and I started watching Qubool Hai because of Zoya - Zoya was such a beautiful, imperfect, clumsy and messy girl but she loved everyone she cared about with all her heart.

Then Asya (KaBhi) happened and I couldn't believe that I was actually craving to see them together every single time on screen... You both brought out the best in each other onscreen as Asad and Zoya. I couldn't see one person without the other because AsYa(KaBhi) were that perfect together.

And then, everything came crashing down along the way when replacements happened but I still continued watching because you were that amazing, Surbhi... I watched other serials and the actresses didn't impress me as much as you do.. Your expressions, emotions, comic timings were all just perfect and I became your fangirl and I still am... It's funny that I get all nervous and protective about your next ventures or the way you look onscreen or whatever you say in interviews (because you should know that you do get bashed with contradictory remarks are made).. I guess all that is part and parcel of a fangirl's life.. :P

Sanam Ahmed Khan has been amazing for you and you're the only actress I've seen that has such beautiful chemistry with anyone for that matter but KaBhi were exceptional. Now, SaHil seems to be the next big thing and I'm really so proud and happy for you.. :))

When I first read an article about Qubool Hai airing, I couldn't care less. Now almost 2 years later, you are one of my favourite actress.
