There has many posts supporting Raman, his silence mainly when she gets thrown out of his home. Even if he connected to her or not, or he believes her or not dosent understand her or not dosent mean anything in front of his silence. If he could not support his wife and stand for her rights or protect her then sorry to say, she would be better without such a partner.

My personal belief is that he should have let her know she has his support. His sister would also be better off without such a creep for a husband. How can Ishita even trust someone like him to stand by her if his family again tries to throw her out over some other petty issue?(being Ektaa serial, lead will definitely get thrown out dozens of times before serial ends).Sorry, to say his silence totally ruined his character.

Time and again, Ishita has proven to Bhalla family she really cares for them and is totally opposite in character to Shagun. Even Raman realises that, so there is no excuse of shagun and her deeds to make them take this stand against Ishita. I personally, think she should be the one to prove herself correct because anyone who can let people even if his family insult the dignity of his wife, is spineless and is natural that wife would not have any other expectation from him.

this is the way you are thinking, but i like to share my point of view.

sometimes silent can say lots of things. i know that raman is fully trusts ishita. but he is stuck between wife and sister. thats y he is quite.

but he will find out and expose to permeet byself and its better for ishita to leave the house caz of permeet is living there. i feel that raman has a soft corner for ishu.n he fall in love with her may be its first step

It is very hard to believe that Raman would remain silent. I hope the CV's justify this behaviour of Raman... Would be very disappointed if Raman does not support Ishita... I mean after all that Ishi has done for them he doesn't trust her is very hard to believe...

So far, CVs have been able to balance out Raman's actions. I hope they will have planned something similar for this track also.

P.S - I think Ishita's character is different. I dont think she'll get herself thrown out a bunch of times. Her character has remained consistently independent and I think thats one of the strengths of this show (hoping I am right )

I dnt think so.. Actions taken impulsively can cause many problems.. One needs to understand entire situation, its after effects and then take any action... He needs to think how to handle his sister who has little baby, if she divorced she may have to loose baby, .. Raman knows pain to stay away from your own child.. He needs to think sll of this before he takes any action.. He is silent now does not mean he is supporting Parmeet, his family and against Ishita.. Just shouting at moment and taking wife's side everytime is not support.. Support can be done without words, by trusting them.. And actions can be taken wisely.. And in this case I feel Raman is sometimes more mature than Ishita, he does think about after effects of situation and then take action.. You can't always jump on gun and ready with AK47 for firing.. These are delicate family issues which needs to be handled wisely..

You put it so brilliantly. That's true in a matter like this where on one hand it's you sister and family and the other it's ishita/wife, he has to take a smart move and handle with caution. And by jumping onto one side proclaiming that he has sided with one person, will make the situation worse and cause even more damage and might let permeet get away and harder to catch. And I agree impulsive decisions are not good, not on such fragile situation sand I hope Raman will help or get evidence or something against permeet.just have to wait and see

i agree with ur post...one cant stay silent when ur spouse's character is being questioned...sister brother or whoever is involved...when u get married, u promise 2 respect n protect her dignity always...that promise comes above saving ur sister's marriage...n if u look at it another way, a brother should take steps 2 save sister's life instead of her marriage 2 a creep...ishita had no reason 2 lie...n who will like 2 seduce a lech like param...🤢

Sorry to say, nowhere i said he should shout or jump the gun ready for firing, but when wife is being slapped by the sister or her dignity and character being questioned one would at least expect the husband to support her dignity, rather than remain silent throughout. No woman would respect a man who lets his family treat her like the dirt, as is gonna happen as per spoiler.

I totally in agreement with you.

1: He may let ishita go because he is thinking about her security, as he always be not at home to protect her plus at her maayaka she would get mental support too where as at Bhalla's all she would face taunts.

2: While ishita is away he woun't have to worry about her all the time and then he can think straight about how to collect proof against parmeet

3: His siter and wife both are at stack. He will have to come up with solid proof to not let parmeet ruin anymore simii's life and blame isihita too.

4: even though he thinks ishi is telling the truth, he knows no one is believing ishita and if he too supports her at this moment his family would think he is being unfair to them, thus unlike ishita he can not openly support or reject anyone. He will have to come up with evidences, logic and rational what he believes is true and why ishita is right.

5: in this serial from the beginning raman is shown like Jalebi.

6: If all this is not right and he truly believes that ishita is wrong ( which is highly unlikely) then ishita better off with out him. us se strong and better toh Bala and vandu hai.

Disagree.

The very fact that he remained silent speaks volumes about his transformation/ character development. The old Raman would've yelled at Ishita right away and thrown her out of the house himself for daring to ruin his sister's house. He obviously respects Parmeet a lot and would've taken Parmeet's words over Ishita, especially when the proof (text messages) are against Ishita.

But HE DOESN'T. Instead he remains silent. His silence speaks volumes. It shows that he isn't dismissing Ishita's claims. It shows that he's actually thinking about the issue. As another poster pointed out, Raman is in an extremely difficult problem. On one side is his sister and the other is his wife. Either way, he looses something.

I'm very sure that Raman will investigate this issue further. I think he's being very smart by keeping silent.
