Good post, Bhanu, and well written. I must confess Sense & Sensibility was never my favorite Austen book but if someone were to ask me which was the most realistic of Austen's works, then I'd definitely name S&S. Maybe the reason why it has influenced so many stories till date is because its themes resonate to this day. How two sisters with polar opposite personalities and thought processes deal with life and love and all its complications always makes for a fascinating story. But what was really interesting in S&S was despite their views how they eventually come to end up with their respective, and in the younger sister's case totally unexpected, life partners. If at all there's one thing I'm looking forward to in this show it is how the sisters' lives and relationships unravel itself in unexpected ways. 

zephyr29, nice views... Yeah this is more realistic of her novels and again she delves into the sisters beautifully...  so I am also eager to see the story...
