ARY vs Geo! - Page 2

well for me its PTV prime and now ptv global but

i think i like geo more than ARY D so yeah

ARY has rubberband therefore it wins 😳

Geo because it give you all kind of info, dramas, news, and shows so i will go with GEO

i have gotten a free preview of geo and i have ary
but still

if your watching a drama on geo ... and all of the sudden it says "news alert" and goes of to new
like what ever happened to the drama... where as if there was a new alert ary would decrease the amount of time for the commericals and finish the drama before hand and than give the news alert



over all I LOVE ARY!!!

ARY has become wayy too glamorous and doesnt truly potray the Pakistani society and culture. It used to be very good, even now some of their dramas are excellent. But i really dont like soaps. Like Teray pehlo mai on Geo or Zara si Zindagi on ARY. I loved TPM when it started but now it has just gone down the drain the same is the case with Mehndi Wale Hath. I like serials like there used to be until a few years back.

Apparently in the UK the programmes they show on GEO are totally different to what they broadcast in Pakistan or the US.

They should reduce the news duration that they give every hour. Even every 2-3 hours should be too much. Its like you are watching a programme and suddenly there is a news alert due to which one lose the momentum of the programme.

Especially on saturday nights when telefilms are on they show 1 hr long news at 12am in the middle of the telefilm which is ridiculous. I have hardly watched the ending of all the telefilms they have shown.

I liked Nadia Khan's show on ARY but now they have replaced her with Marina Khan and i think she shows off a lot. I also watched ARY due to Dr Shahid Masood but he has been kicked out aswell.

I prefer to watch ARY after 9pm and Geo before 9pm. This is only because after 9pm all they show on GEO are current affairs programmes such as "Aj Kamran Khan kay sath" and "Capital Talk" and "ALif" and any other you can think off. So basically after 9pm GEO becomes a news channel rather than a family entertainment channel.

All the good drama are on air after 9pm on ARY so i like to watch those.

But Still I prefer GEO more than ARY simply because ARY has become too much a political and glamorous channel and everyone is leaving it like Nadia Khan, Shahid Masood, REhan Babar, Farhan, Mubashir and others

whereas GEO is still to an extent diplomatic and show both sides of a picture.

ary doesnt really portray our culture.

i dont watch both of them really often. so i dont have any idea which 1 is better

Mere pas itna time hi nahi hota kuch bhi dekhne ke liye main sirf drama seriel "Chalte Chalte" from ARY D. dekhti hoon aur kuch bhi nahi sirf agar time ho to kuch aur program dekh leti hoon... 😆 😆
But my vote still goes to ARY... 😃

yh geo i like the drama's on geo but i hate ary it's really boring i swear.
