Mehru's chacha 's job is in jeopardy because of the case and he threatens what if she continues he will not let her get out of the house. Rafay says he will continue to support her.

Shahnawaz gets Dawood to threaten Mehru' sister.

I have a feeling that Mehru will have to leave the house, her uncle's threats plus the line in the OST , where it says whoever was close to her was alienated from her makes me think so.

Also in the precap BiJaan seems to give some sort of ultimatum. Of course the police now say it was the driver and not Zain Shah driving the car. The intimidation scene in the office is tomorrow, Mehru calls a press meet I guess and this scene is post that.

I hope she leaves. Will save us from the family drama

How can they justify the love angle when Shahnawaz is utterly villainous? There's nothing morally right about someone who sends goons to threaten women on the street. Their fight for Zain's freedom portrays him not as a criminal, but as a misunderstood freedom fighter. What will it take for Saman Shah to see that her son truly doesn’t belong in this society? May be a shocking act, like breaking her legs and keeping her in a wheelchair under the influence of drugs. I almost wish Shahnawaz would say, “There are countless people in wheelchairs; no big deal if we have one more.

In today's episode he himself is gonna threaten her. Locking the door of the office and intimidating her by standing that close basically is sexual harrasment and that too at work place.

But this is a Wattpad story. So it doesn't matter how villainous and inhuman he is and how headstrong and righteous she is. They are eventually gonna fall for each other. It's all about the hot chemistry and tense between the leads smiley36

I think that bro will die of drug overdose or something. I don't see how mehru is gonna soften towards him when that crazy bro is still in the picture.

This is the blurb from the article

"What makes a love story stand out in a crowded field? In Iqtidar, it’s the compelling transformation of a successful young man (played by Ali Raza) who changes his life for the woman he loves."

It seems they are targetting the whole anti-hero/villain in love transformation brought on by the FL. Now what needs to be seen will the execution be able to sell the transformation and growth.

The perspective they are presenting is absolutely right. Handling power, money, and politics isn’t exactly a piece of cake, at least not if you are planning to do it face-to-face. She needs to step back and plan her move carefully, maybe even go in for a well timed backstab. And if there is a love story brewing, she can play along for fun, but there is no need to actually fall for him. The chemistry might be sparking, but the real issue is his biology. His family is a total disaster. His home is like a reality show, let's say- Big Boss, with three contestants all competing to see who can sink the lowest of the low to win the trophy. None of his family members look sober, someone’s drunk on power, someone’s under the influence of drugs. It’s like a circus of dysfunction.

Only his fiancee's mother looks sober enough smiley36. Atleast she knows doong drugs and killing someone are wrong.

That is exactly the problem. They are trying to romanticize violence. Breaking bangles, pushing, and pulling. That’s domestic violence, not some grand love affair. Someone needs to call this out before they start referring to bruises as love marks.

Not gonna happen. It's wild love according to Wattpad standards smiley37

I am watching this with zero expectations on anything logically.

Everyone seems to be turning away from Mehru and her determination to seek justice. I can't believe how foolish and spinless Sadia has been shown. Just a brief meeting with Saman Shah and there goes her desire to help her daughter her justice for Shani.

Bi Jaan's character is also becoming annoying with every passing episode. Don't know why they have all kept her on a pedestal for no reason. At least Rafay is still willing to support Mehru in her quest for justice. Don't know for how long though.

By this time, Shahnawaz's character is totally destroyed. I really don't see how 'love' can make him human. He is clearly with a moral compass. If the makers want to show a love story with him and Mehru, at least they could have made him more human. They could have shown him condemning his brother's reckless act while still wanting to protect him from going behind the bars.

At this point, I don't see Shahnawaz as an anti-hero. He is out and out a villain. Not for once has he expressed any emotion about the death of an innocent boy. If they ultimately show the dreaded love story, they would be glorifying this "toxic hero" trait. Not a good message to send out to the audience.
