The Amal thing is complicated, there are close family ties and his mother loves Amal like her own daughter. At this point they are still engaged, so while he is irritated with Amal's clinginess, she just happens to be the girl he is supposed to marry for political and familial reasons.

How can they justify the love angle when Shahnawaz is utterly villainous? There's nothing morally right about someone who sends goons to threaten women on the street. Their fight for Zain's freedom portrays him not as a criminal, but as a misunderstood freedom fighter. What will it take for Saman Shah to see that her son truly doesn’t belong in this society? May be a shocking act, like breaking her legs and keeping her in a wheelchair under the influence of drugs. I almost wish Shahnawaz would say, “There are countless people in wheelchairs; no big deal if we have one more.

I think in today episode he will not threatened her, he will take a first step of trap by manipulating her and blame put all in his mother like she was the one who is doing everything so mehrunnisa will back off from this case .if mehrunnisa wants to keep her family safe she should back off .he tray to put his words on her brain with concern .I think now shahnawaz doesn't want only to mehrunnisa to back off he wants her to pay for their sufferings he and his mother go through because of mehru.
