These many side characters would only mean too much family drama😶

I hate the upcoming episodes where most of the scenes might focus on elder sister of Mehru & her husband😑 ( tired of majboor-bechaari-doormat wives & their narcissistic husbands🙄)

We already have a lot of drama inside Mehru's home🤕

Hopefully once MehrShah's marriage happens, the focus will be on them only.

Not Bts but the actress playing Urooj was dressed in bridal clothes, the makeup artist tagged was the one working in Iqtidar as well as well as the actresses playing Bijaan, Chaachi, Mehru's sister and Mom were all dressed up in fineries. They were also shooting a scene between BiJaan and Urooj . These were all insta stories of the actors.

They have to move the story forward and it can't move without some resolution to the family drama.

I just want the leads to have enough screenspace! As far as side characters do not take-up much screenspace causing fewer scenes of leads, fine!

I just hope shahnawaz have proper redemption arc and their story is well executed.

Finally got around to watching the episodes:

-- appreciate that they show Mehru is vulnerable. When she prays, she asks for courage as she is scared. This isn't one of those mad FLs who give lectures to everyone. No, Mehru is very well aware of what she is against. When she fights with Rafay, she says that she went to the police station because she had no support and not because she wanted to. There is a huge distinction. Basically Mehru is not fighting because she wants to but because she has to. So she is very much fleshed out character.

-- Liked that despite the conflict, Saman Shah instinctively recognizes Mehru as an able adversary, someone to be cautious about. Mehru has brains, is not argumentative for the sake of argumentative, rather she makes arguments logically and rationally. Wah! Shah isn't appreciative though. Amal is going to lose her mind when she realizes both mother and son are way too impressed by this chick and thinking of her

-- Liked Amal's mom and how she tore down Zain and his friends. Wonder how this is going to play out later.

--- Mehru's mom being a pushover, the money obsessed son-in-law, Beejaan who is obsessed with tea, chacha who thinks respect is staying inside the house: all of this is ultimately going to lead to them accepting some sort of payment in exchange for 'forgiveness'. Will not be surprised if this happens behind Mehru's back and without her permission. Then, we will have to see what options she has to fight this family.

-- Mehru's character is also shaped by her mother's passiveness and being scared of any conflict. Because her mother refuses to be the adult who shields her children, Mehru has been forced to be pushy, dominant and someone who fights for the rights of her family. Because her mother sat in the shadows all her life, they think Mehru being in the sun is somehow a blight on their respect. What they don't realize is that Mehru's behaviour is on them; if they acted like elders and adults, she wouldn't have to fight any battle.
