I really hope teasers are not misleading and it indeed is Bilal's story ! Sunn Mere Dil needs to be Bilal's pov! If he is the central character then Wahaj will get ample scope to showcase his craft. Wahaj as an actor likes pushing the boundaries and tries coming out of his comfort zone every single time which I am glad about. In fact, after SMD, I'd like him to sign something very rustic like Dunyapur/Gullyboy space

Yes, I guess Bilal lives in Turkey and then comes back to India and will be an alcoholic. A wayward, lonely man with a troubled past. A man who has build walls around him to protect himself from getting hurt by others. He will seem arrogant and wayward and that would change when Sadaf enters his life and manages to break his walls. While he falls for her, she won't. Maybe by the time she realizes her love for him, it would be too late. All this is just a speculation, let's see.

This seems like a classic tragic unrequited love story.

Coming to Sadaf, I feel the next teaser might focus on her character. She looks gorgeous in the teasers.

Teasers have raised my expectations and I hope I won't get disappointed. Hopefully Bilal will end up becoming one of the most characters of Wahaj's career 🤞

As for teasers, Geo doesn’t really do misleading promos and from those I get the vibe that it’s Bilal Abdullah’s story. However, wahaj IS the pull for this show and makes sense to utilise him the most. Show might be more balanced between all characters.

So far Maya seems to be the muse and that’s it. Her teaser might help us decipher her more. I also want some insight into Hira and Usama’s roles. Khalil really doesn’t do super complicated plots and his focus is more on dynamics so if they give us a solid teaser and trailer we might be able to see the plot entirely.

It looks like story will play in flashbacks n then the reentry of FL will happen at the later stage. Starting mein you will see dukh dard peedha n then the later part is probably the obsession.

This is the kind of show you knowingly sign up for after mentally preparing yourself. There will be dukh dard. There will be unrequited love. There will be lots of alcohol. For many this isn’t “escape” entertainment. Devdas has never been a favorite of mine - probably SRK’s worst imo - but for Wahaj I’ll watch anything

Speaking of Gentleman, nobody was more shocked than me that he gave Zarnab and her dad such a refreshing and positive relationship. I’ve hardly ever seen such a progressive father daughter bond. A father who has so much respect for his daughter’s wishes and understands and supports her fully. It was nice to see that sometimes Khalil can get some things right at least.

Because of that I’m expecting to see some wholesome familial dynamics in SMD. Perhaps Sadaf with her family. Bilal Abdullah with his sister or dad, whoever he has around him. Maybe it’s with the character played by Mohammad Ahmed

Every KRQ story is not misogynistic. Mera Naam Yousaf Hai starting Maya was quite empowering .

Geo will make sure they will use Wahaj's popularity. I just hope they use it right, I don't want another Mein disaster where the ost was nothing like the show. I'm still hurt how he got pushed to side. So far, I dont see much to Maya's role.

In the novel it was indicated that Devdas fell for Chandramukhi but in the movie version, he never fell for Chandramukhi & always loved Paro and made it clear to Chandramukhi that perhaps in next birth he might love her but in this birth, his heart beats only for Paro.
