I read Mere Paas tum he's plot and I don't mind that because the female lead was grey and she cheated on the hero only for her to regret later...they did not justify cheating in any case and in fact that the one who got cheated was the hero!

When I said I don't like story lines involving cheating and extra marital affairs, I meant stories like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna where extra marital was justified & precisely why the movie didn't work !

If here they show Wahaj falling for Maya who is in a committed relationship and Maya falling for him too eventually, I am not up for it cos in this case Usama turns out to be the hero & I won't be able to connect with Wahaj.

The scenario which I would prefer is if Wahaj - Maya are in a relationship OR Maya is in a toxic relationship with Usama and Wahaj falls for her.

I just don't want Wahaj to be the one going for extra marital affair or falling for a committed woman despite her being in a loving relationship with another guy.

I thought Mehwish was full on negetive like nigar from balaa BTW They already made this drama with same concept through Mann Aangan

I don’t think Maya would fall for Wahaj if she is already committed to Usama. The title of the show clearly refers to one sided or unrequited love.

Ya if she doesn't fall for Wahaj and stays committed to Usama who is a good guy then it would mean Wahaj is playing a proper antagonist who would try to get Maya by hook or by crook & in the end perhaps realize he was wrong...Sounds a bit boring to me unless executed well & Wahaj's character to have layers.

Obviously the story won’t be so basic. There is also Hira’s character so we would have to wait and see.

From all the discussions, I think it will be like Wahaj and Maya's characters are gonna be estranged lovers who meet each other after a decade or so...I think Maya is either married or engaged to Usama's character and wahaj's character is trying to woo her back.. It could turn out to be a tragic lovestory like ae Dil hei mushkil were his lovestory remains one-sided or could be like kabhi alvida na kehna where he gets her but at the cost of losing everything else ..
