An assertive male lead with a heart of gold
The drama features Wahaj Ali as Murtasim. Wahaj Ali is an excellent actor who has played lead roles in countless dramas before. He started his career in showbiz in 2015 with the drama Ishq Ibadat.
Wahaj is famous for his chocolate boy or boy-next-door characters. Though the actor has masterfully played other significant roles, Murtasim is a notch above. He is arrogant, assertive and vigorous however he is equally compassionate and empathetic. Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down. He doesn’t like his uncle’s daughter but later he comes to know that she is his great-uncle’s daughter. His mother forces him to marry Meerab. After marriage, he starts to like Meerab but Meerab does not like him, she is living with him only because of compulsion and to annoy her, she does everything that he does not like. Wahaj has a no-nonsense, furious expression in the play and his performance as Murtasim is flawless.

She is well known in the Pakistani entertainment industry as one of the most prominent actresses. She has established her career as one of the leading television actress in Urdu-television industry and is known for portraying diverse characters in social to romantic dramas. Zaidi is the recipient of three Lux Style Awards.
As Meerab she is an aspiring lawyer, lives in Karachi with her (foster) parents Waqas and Aneela. Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her. Due to family pressure, Meerab gets married to Wahaj Ali but remains separated from him. Wahaj Ali falls in love with her and tries to make Meerab fall in love with him too.
