lovely ending imo overall. I think Faryal's dialogues could've been more hard-hitting. They missed out on her questioning that Murad never truly loved her either. The flashbacks made a lot of sense but a deeper introspection would've been nicer from Faryal's end. I liked the open-endedness of Mehran and Mehru. Noor and Ayaz living their happily ever after!!
I saw a critique of the show that there isn't character growth and the show utilizes a lot of bechari troupes. I think that's why this show was good. It didn't try to be an overarchingly great love story. It was as the title suggests, a qissa. simply a story of the girl who waited and then she didn't.
Do think they pushed Murad over the edge with a lot of what he tried to do. There could've been more subtility in terms of showcasing abuse. Recognition of abuse when it becomes physical shouldn't be the only line after which someone tries to separate from their partner.
The winning point imo is that the show's character promos were brilliant.
A stellar cast, tightly written script, decent production, and a soulful soundtrack make a great watch.
