Behroze is wrong in forcing his wish on Ruhi. Ruhi is not being blamed for not accepting Behroze's wish to get their daughter married to Wali, she is wrong to drag this hatred that she has for Agha Jaan. Behroze kept telling her to forget the past, he requested Ruhi to give his father a chance, to see the love in his eyes, to realize that he is ashamed of what he did 20 years ago. But Ruhi is being stubborn about it. Not only stubborn, she can't stop badmouthing Agha Jaan, calling his illness a drama, being openly rude to him in front of everyone just so show her displeasure, completely refusing to give him a chance which is making people criticize her. By no means does that make Behroze right. He is also wrong. Even Agha Jaan keeps telling him to reconsider, even he is not pleased with Behroze's urgency to get the kids married.
Behroze is making the same mistakes. In his urgency to ease his guilt, he is using excuses as, "Suhaib khush nahin hai" because the kids aren't married. His whole logic is flawed. This can't be excused. But that also doesn't give Ruhi the ticket to be so abnormaly rude to Agha Jaan. Theek hai AJ did her wrong, but isn't Ruhi educated enough to give him some respect as an elder? Behroze didn't ask her to get all chummy with AJ, he only asked her to give AJ the respect he deserves. Fine, Behroze didn't talk about this family for 20 years but can't she see that now her husband is back home, regretting his decision to be so cut off from this family. Is her hatred for Agha Jaan so big that she can't even give him ONE chance just for the sake of her husband, the one she so loves. By all means she can refuse to get Farah married to Wali. Agha Jaan is right, Ruhi has ALL the rights on Farah and her life decisions. What she doesn't have is the right to be unbearably rude to someone who is trying his utmost to fix things.
