It's funny how Mahira is always put up against Sanam Baloch even though the comparison is so off since Sanam is such a better actress than her, has done more work and is actually more reserved than Mahira when it comes to speaking about herself as there's hardly any public appearance of Sanam Baloch..except if you count her morning show as one.

The fact that Sanam Baloch has been paired with Fawad and so has Mahira is what puts them up against each other. Even though Mahira isn't even half of what Sanam Baloch is onscreen and probably will never be...just find it funny. 😆

If Mahira should be compared to anyone than it's the likes of Naveen or possibly Alishba etc as they all came around the same time. Sanam's in the league of Aamina Sheikh/Saba Qamar etc..not Mahira.

I think it works both ways.. It's not always Mahirah who's put up against Sanam.. Since both have worked with Fawad and are popular pairings, either Sanam's compared with Mahirah or Mahirah with Sanam.
And it's true.. Sanam is with Aamina and Saba as well as Ayesha, whereas Mahirah, Naveen, Syra, Sanam Saeed are the newer lot.
Except I think out of all of em Sanam and Alishba are probably the only one's who regularly appear on-screen. The rest do like one drama a year.

There can be no comparison in Mahira and Sanam.. Sanam is definitely the better actress but she puts me to sleep I don't know why.. 😕

Well i guess it was not us who started this acting comparison thing 😆People were just posting that they want Mahira & i think there is nothing wrong in it.I dunno why this always happens in every thread related to fawad or FM or HS or etc.
Where is sanam right now, where is Mahira and where they will be in Future is not related to this discussion at all.
I dont like Sanam & I dont want her with fawad so i dont want this news to be true BAS

Since Mahira and Sanam were being compared above just wanted to point out how they have nothing in common except for their pairing with Fawad. Fawad's more or less the only sole factor between the two which is kind of sad as otherwise, they need to be ranked amongst their own league. Sanam Baloch is an actress who people look forward to seeing beyond just the wish to see her with certain male costars.. and I like the fact that she's known more for her individual onscreen presence as opposed to things that hardly should matter to an actress.

Of course comparing Mahira to Sanam offscreen doesn't do much justice to Sanam anyway as Sanam hardly does interviews and hardly ever spoke about her own life/her projects/her costars etc in the very few interviews she has done. So I feel they're usually compared based on their pairings with Fawad...and the other way around with Sanam being compared to Mahira is mere injustice towards Sanam..since she's in a different league altogether.

When the news broke out of Mahira working in Main Manto along with Saba broke out..no one even bothered comparing the two actresses..😆..of course because it makes no sense. Mahira's no where close to what Saba is as an actress even though anyone can make as many comparisons as they'd like about them otherwise offscreen..but even then there were none..yet with Sanam Baloch for some reason..it's always Mahira vs Sanam..definitely because of the Fawad factor.

Discussing/debating/comparing..same thing..this thread is more or less about Sanam- Fawad vs Mahira-Fawad and Sanam vs Mahira thus far, and the drama isn't even official yet.

you guys were discussing how you don't like Sanam as opposed to Mahira..so how was that even a part of the main topic on hand anyway? 😆

I actually was neutral towards Sanam until her acting gve me headaches in AA and KPKPPBT. Now I don't like her.

And with Mahira, even if I feel she's very nervous and underconfident in interviews, she gives a real vibe. Even if she's done something wrong she accepts it and speaks about itt. She's always been open. I actually gave a whole analysis on her in the AT once. Whether it's her acting or her off-screen image.

Mahira is improving with Time.& i feel she is trying to overcome the confidence problem.

@ bold ...I think in my first post i clearly wrote "except sanam i can tolerate ANY girl with fawad".
& Where did i mention that mahira is better thn sanam in romance or etc.we were talking about sanam only & were discussing the reasons that why we dont like her.it was you who brought acting thing here & started comparison & thn after reading our conv you realized that we should not compare both of them.
anyway from my side i am putting a full stop on this argument :)

This thread so far has been like this:

most people saying they don't want to see Fawad & Sanam together but Fawad & Mahira as they like them more. Further, Sanam and her affair with Haissam was brought up..later how Sanam is a better actress than Mahira was brought up..furthermore, it was brought up how though Sanam may be the better actress, she's not as likable as Mahira to some and perhaps will never be ..later, how Mahira is much more likable and honest etc.

So to say why I'm bringing up the fact that Sanam & Mahira are really just put up against each other in this thread because of their pairings with Fawad..makes no sense.
