May be we can request the organisers to please specify what kind of songs we can select .

Shirsha, you sang Kabhi Shaam Dhale wonderfully and with ease.
But I didn't realize you could lose points for picking the wrong song, or if it doesn't suit your voice. Now I'm wondering if the song I choose will be a good fit or not. 🤔 I'll message Viswaruti later for tips on that one, perhaps you should do the same.

Thank you so much, Smitten! I am disappointed. I didn't think I would get such low marks. I already talked to Madhuri (Viswastruti).

Shirsha, you have a wonderful voice and you still have three more rounds. Having heard you sing, I am sure you will do better in other rounds. Don't be disappointed, enjoy the journey ❤️

If you have further concerns, our mentor, Viswasruti, is there to help you out.

Shirsha, don't worry! It's just one round. You'll have lots of opportunities to boost your score! Like Tia said, you have a great voice. Keep at it. You'll do great.

I have one query:

The instrument have to be prominent in the song or it can feature in any part of the song. I am a Lil confused about this.

Also thank you for the feedback

It can be in any part of the song, but it must be distinguishable. Like it can be in a repeating refrain throughout the song, or it can appear in the prelude or interlude but you must be able to pinpoint...yes, this is the instrument that is prominent here, I can hear the strings, or the notes or the beats from it. Just check the examples given in the Rules for R2 post.

You're welcome, shall convey it to the judges.

I have the same question. Can I select an instrument if it features only in the prelude of a song? For instance- In a song named Mohe rang do laal, Shehnai features in the prelude.

What if there are 2 instruments prominent in that part and I'm choosing one of them? Like a guitar and piano playing together. Is that allowed? Or does it have to be only one instrument that's prominent?
