I think what message they are trying to potray is karma has caught up with the Naik family and Anna Naik and his deeds ... Madhav s wife was arrested and sentenced.... Maai and Madhav have been reduced to squalor ...Just the way vacchi and her family were forced to live in poverty throughout and finally driven to suicide ... Maai was unsparing in her treatment towards shevanta and now her daughter is paying back in the same coin ... The actress has been specifically chosen to impart a vampish colour to her role...

I could not understand the extreme Chinese expressions given by Maai throughput the episode...She really had wide round eyes throughout season 1 n 2...Poor eyesight during old age ....

Yeah, it was shocking to see Madhav and Mai leading the life as street urchins and Madhav looks mentally imbalanced !!!

Abhiram though is shown to lead a good life and acc to Mai Datta is working on others fields,,Purnima Dey as Sushma, neeehhh..they should have continued with Rutuja Dharamadhikari!!

Would be interesting to see the events slowly unfolding that let to such a dramatic situation..

Madhav leading life of a street urchin is difficult to digest especially since he led a comfortable dignified life in Mumbai with a well to do existence and had a grown up boy Archies ....

Secondly the visuals of the Naik wada look like it has been gutted down by fire or some such mishap...rather than a house in a state of disuse and neglect ..The visual depiction of the wada post 2016 could have been made more realistic and sensible with subtle changes rather than dramatically going overboard !
