CDs was definitely famous If m not wrong it started around 2000...idr much but I guess I was around 6 yr old..in first or second standard 😂😂 i remember that serial coz in my village/native place at 8pm I could only hear char divas sasuche title song...every household used to watch that serial...it was definitely on peek for more than 3-4 yrs...it ended around when I was in first yr of graduation 😂😂must be around 2013-12
It had decent story line too..asha lata Deshmukh (Rohini H)wanted her younger son(Pankaj Vishnu) to be a business man but he wanted to be a singer..so she plans something so that he looses his confidence to sing n be a singer 😂...Asha's husband gets married that son to his friends daughter(Kavita lad) who are middle class..I think asha din like her...there is third angle too..a girl who loved that son(iguess It was played by Shweta Shinde..over the decade every actor was replaced two three times)
) 😂n so on..

i had heard in one of d interviews of rohini hattanagadi and even kavita lad regarding this serial .they said that channel had a perticular trp in mind as every year new serials would definately come at same time slot on other channels when star pravah also started ,so it was not easy to top d chart always,bt if channel didnt get their anticipated trp in d race ,we would take off d show.bt that never happened.cds got that expected trp despite of not in top 5.
bt then etv grp channels were in crises,as so mant channels in other languages ended,bt luckily etc marathi and other etv regional channels were taken over by viacom 18 and etv marathi changed to colors marathi.
bt before that newly appointed team had decided to take off all old serials.and that time chd ended.
even after d entry of nikhil sane as creative head,he closed down mejavani paripurna kitchen which also run on etv for many years and startrd with prashant damale with new show which again ended very early.
also nikhil sane finally succeeded in bringing bigboss in marathi which was actually tried by rithesh deshmukh.also sur nava came in d sane year.
so sane and comp had done a great job in giving cm a new face ,and i guess rajwade is lacking in that,dont know a person like him who worked in many channels as a writer or actor or director ,how can he still doesnt get d key to take d channel ahead.

Very True Rajwade should own the blame , he foucessed on his webseries debut and completely ignored the Star Paravah content.
The series like A2 was spoiled and reason is that the veteran like Rajan Bhise ,Ponkshe and Gokhle were wasted. The villain was one shown in hindi super natural thriller bramharakshas too and he is so good but the treatment of story and serial was worst.
Also the odd slot went against it.
