Shit am scared now... Why need for a leap? KKB ratings are superb every week. 😕

Ekta's Kasam got totally destroyed after 7 years leap adding the kids. Kasam even didn't introduced much new promising characters after leaps to look forward. Even their story too is not well-planned to grab interest. So literally a big failed.

Hope CVs and Ekta will not destroy KKB. They can easily introduce new twist without taking leaps, I guess lot to explore. If leap goes wrong then KKB will be totally destroyed. Makers needed to execute leap with well planned storyline and new characters, why they are rushing for the leap like they are desperate to kill the show? Zee need to think as KKB is one of their current best show and number two long running show. They can't act like this way. And what about the spin-off? And what about the spin-off? It will totally look weird if KKB goes 7 years forward, I guess connection will be totally cut.

Two years after his last show 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed' ended, Mishaal Raheja is back in action. He will soon join the cast of 'Kumkum Bhagya', which features Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha as the lead couple, after it goes in for a time leap of seven years.

While Shabbir plays an Indian rock star on the show, Mishaal will be seen as King Singh, an NRI rock star. He says, "It's a positive character, whose entry will shake the very foundation of Abhi (Shabbir) and Pragya's (Sriti) relationship. My character is flashy, flamboyant and OTT. Playing an over-the -top character can be quite challenging for an actor. It's important not to cross the line, he says.

The character seems to be tailor-made for the actor, as he is inclined towards music and learning it since about a year. he says, "I can play the guitar and have started composing tunes. Given a chance, I would love to sing on the show.

Mishaal catapulted to fame as Dutta Bhau in 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan', in which he was paired opposite Mahhi Vij.

I rarely start following / watching any fiction show on TV by merely looking how popular the star cast is, similarly don't get much affected when popular actors mid-way are roped into an existing show..😊

I'll just wait & watch first. This is quite ok actually. Hope it brings some new vibes in Abhigya equation. Mr. Raheja himself is a great actor. Can't wait...haha...😉

I don't get the feeling this is just another love interest for Pragya. Pragya will never, never think of anyone else.😆 So this is more than a love interest. Shabir maybe out for a while. Not good.

I did happen to watch Mishal few years back on Colors in that Laagi Tujh se Lagan show with Mahi.. both their lead characters Datta bhau & Nakusha in the first two tracks had some spark, were well defined and story concept was little different at that time..😊 then ofcourse show got screwed up badly despite its successful launch when it derailed..

Mishal seems to have good fan following and doesn't regularly do TV shows as he is mostly busy with his business ventures. Sry, no offence, but something cracked me up while reading his latest Blife interview this evening..how royally Ekta & her casting team could have fooled such an experienced TV actor who is for the first time getting associated with Balalji? 😃

Parallel lead is one thing and having another popular actor come in to have a triangle after 1000 + episodes is fishy..having 2 senior actors as 2 heroes doesnt happen generally on shows and if someone accepted to come in at this point well knowing the show's popularity and the leads following as Abhi and Pragya, there must be a strong reason.. which for now feels if that person was promised the main lead some months later...

There's slight difference unlike Sameer, Mishal is an expensive TV actor and moreover BALH was first fiction show for Sameer and it was well informed to him that his role though parallel lead will be a cameo spanned for few months. Also BALH fumbled despite cute kid, because they showed female leads lovable younger sister as male leads wife post leap by turning her negative much to the discomfort of many viewers.

And here for many months it is visible that Zee & Ekta have low budget spends for KKB. So to accommodate per day expenses of an actor like Mishal for a longer stay in the show, they may have to look for ways to bump off many supporting and side characters from their regular payroll. 😳 (Arora family & house have already vanished, so with long leap even lot of Mehra family members & MM to an extent can be spaced out)
