Mansi yesterday episode was good.
Not the manner or how Jalal was given Akbar title by a common man but HOW Zee did NOT promote that is irritating.

Surely in serial named Jodha Akbar when till date he is known as Jalal - the attaining of Akbar title is of vital importance.
If not in grandeur atleast in importance!

Surely this should have been in the promo rather the the dirty look of Maha Chuchak Begum. Zee could have given the Akbar promo on weekend and today could have given Maha C promo.

It was special moment and what I loved was Jalal could share his happiness only with Jodha - cos he knows that more than him she would be happy and proud about this. Jodha is the one who made him aware of the importance of awam's dua and his getting Akbar title means as much to Jodha as him. The last scene was cute.

I already vented yesterday thread about wanting to see Jalal Jodha spent nights together - they can just show Jalal close the curtains! Just show by implication than this coyness and go back to platonic!!!

I think Shehnaz might be a plant of Maha C, cos how else she will know HOW to contact her? Delhi takht was not given to anybody and here also in serial if Humayun had kept such farman Jalal will want to hand it over. So mostly she will be a plant of Maha C, maybe real daughter of CB had died which fact only Maha C knows. Maybe the bandi went to her cos how else was she to raise her? So maybe Maha C put the bandi to this and Shehnaz might believe she is CB's daughter.

Remember CB felt no connection when Shehnaz met her, so mostly she would not be her daughter.

Maybe CB will recover and then tell Shehnaz is not her daughter, maybe even the bandi could be different! I don't see Shehnaz becoming good later.

Maybe she is planted by Maha C to get Delhi takht so that she can then attack for Agra takht.

About Ruk dressed in armor - I HOPE she does not get in Jalal's good books again just by fighting or helping. Like how Jalal gave Ruk a gift after Ben!!! 😡

I just want to see Ruk's real face come in front of Jalal including why and what all she did - like making Jodha do teemardari in trying to drive apart Jodha and Jalal.

The bandi poisoning and hakima cheating.

Won't it be fun if MA threatens the pregnant bandi and makes her dress in the same dress like Ruk had and put on face pack and present her in front of all as proof!

Finally got time to comment.

Loved the episode, CVs totally surprised me by giving this beautiful episode. Loved the last scene for its simplicity and depth. After all the title was given to Jalal by his Praja so it was in simple manner. Both Jalal and Jodha and whole scene touched my heart.

Yeah, it could have been promoted well. But I don't have any hopes from ZEE and BT, they are bunch of brainless people... busy promoting MahaChuchak entry rather than this important milestone.

Anyway, Happy first anniversary of JA to you and all lovely people on this thread...🥳

frankly i loved the episode for it's simple beauty...right from start to end there was something to watch for... the sweet simple relationship btw Jo and Jalal , where both r really merged with eachother mind body and soul... his relation with Jo is not more of a show off like his with Ruku, which was more on physical level and as friend cum advisor...that relation could never fulfill his desire for love and peace of mind... but with Jo , his desire is fulfilled mostly every moment... whatever she does, big or small, it gives him satisfaction, peace , a moment of pride and mostly a feeling of being loved and supported...no wonder this once hated begum of his has earned the place of top priority in his life, that now he wants to share every moment only with her..

and abt that last scene , where he is given the title as 'Akbar' , i found most beautiful... the once cruel, heartless, ruthless emperor now wants to share his moments of happiness and pride with his subjects... now when he has started to understand the importance of his subjects in his life, regardless of their religion or caste, his subjects r no less than him... they too understand and acknowledge the change in their king, and this was their way to show it...

yest many viewers must have felt , that this biggest moment should have been shown in grand way... but for me this was most beautiful way to show it... the man who gave him that paper on which that title was written, he was no one... rather he was , we can say just a mere representative of his common praja... and so that was the moment of recognition , the moment of acceptance by even a smallest part of the vast society...

that moment couldn't have been better...guys , when a common man gives something to a king, he will give it in a simple ceremony... he can't arrange a grand ceremony for a king... and then this was not some gift even... this was their gratitude for their king... their acknowledgement for the happiness that young king , who himself is not much older than their own kids... and even at such young age , this king of theirs is trying his best for their betterment, this feeling, this truth, just made those subject act in that moment... and thus they did something , that gave the young emperor the moment of utmost pride in his life till date... and then he shared that moment with his loved one in their private eyelock...most beautiful...

there was even something more... when that man gave Jalal that piece of paper on which Akbar was written , it was written in hindi as well as urdu... that means it's by both his hindu and muslim subjects , common subjects, who r actually merged in eachother , leaving behind the walls of religions or caste... the ppl who opposed him were his own ppl who call themselves his advisors... and so now he can see who r real backstabbers , who r be the thornes in his life , his political system when he will try to do something for betterment of his subjects... now he can understand whom he needs to take care of, while proving himself the better king and a perfect Shehenshah , who is loved and respected by all... coz yest simple incident made one thing clear, that now his subjects Hindu/Muslim have accepted him all by heart, they love and respect him most, right after their God... and while this feeling of acceptance gives him pride, satisfaction and peace, it gives more the feeling of increased responsibility towards his subjects to protect them now and in future, to care for their stability and prosperity from those who r always ready to disturb the society with their so called rules and acts...

one thing sure, now Jalal won't look back to the past , which might give him the feeling of regret for the way he was... now when he has the strong support of his subjects, he will always be ready to prove himself that he truly deserves the title given to him...AKBAR.

and let's be sure that his love will always be there for him with him... coz she too has accepted that he is hers...His Jodha's Akbar...

Diksha wonderful post. So true NOW he is ONLY Jodha's Akbar.
Maybe others had claim on Jalal but Akbar ONLY is Jodha's
