Other than Jahangir, all other kids were to concubines.(Read in some other article) But given to Salima and HB for parvarish. Based on this serial, Jodha/Hira looks likes a honest personality. So naturally when Jahangir killed Abdul Fazl, she would have stood with Akbar rather than supporting her own son. Other than Jodha, everyone stood for Jahangir.
