It compels me to share another favourite. A twist on Veer Zara.

I am not sure how many of you are aware of this little fact but veer Zara’s music was created by tunes revived from legendary music director late Madam Mohan Ji YEARS after his death. It was a tribute and no wonder movie’s music is timeless.

Here is Madan Ji singing tere liye’s original melody “dil dhoondhta hain”. Your song reminded me of this. There is just something surreal in the way this music seemlessly transitions into tere liye and lata ji’s voice comes over. Extremely close to my heart and beautifully apt for this FF.

My obsession with music is on a different level, typical bengali...😄 That is why after every chapter i also put a song link like arpita.

I donot think i have ever listened to tere liye without shedding a tear.

Hukum thaa may jiyoon lekin tere bagair -- khushi.

"Do pal ruka khwabo ka karwa" also goes so well with this story.

Your story is beautiful and I can tell you I have read so many stories on IF, on the blog, on the Wattpad about Arshi based on serial and set in alternative world that I have lost count. I have read stories where Arnav is downright abusive and cheater too. Some stories where I hated Arnav.

But in your story I think people maybe hate me to say that I got sympathy for Arnav too . Your story is about very real characters. I am disappointed with Lavanya but in showbiz people tend to get selfish and self centred . And she is selfish and self oriented.
Khushi is product of our conservative society. She should have have try to proactive towards her personality. But she was in love with Arnav and her life is revolved around Arnav and she forgot about herself. She needed a jolt which she got now . Nobody wants a jolt like that but life is not your friend.
And what can I say about Arnav, he is a product of same conservative society where a man think he is the boss and he will make all decisions. He is used to women likeKhushi, his mother. He wants to live on the principle which were taught to him and also not abide by them. He is set in his own views .. So he cheated but he remorseful too.
I always say to my sons and daughter too that life throws challenges and we have to overcome them. My views on marriage are very strong . I wants both Arnav and Khushi to ride this challenge and work toward their marriage as life gave them second chance. But they have to change their stances.. Arnav need to be flexible and Khushi need to learn to love herself and explore herself

But I don’t wants them to divorce as divorce is very easy way out. AWESOME STORY.

i love ' Aaaj socha to aansoo bhar aaye', rasme ulfat ko nibhaye' all mera saya songs. he was phenomenal.

Veer zara yes i know its his composition. this song is beautiful. he has used that in mausam too. that dil dhundhata in Lata ji's voice is so playful and the same song in bhupinder singh's voice makes u rest less. what an awesome composer

and then it’s Khushi’s absolute devotion in the lines “tere liye hum hain jiyein”- add Honthon ko siye to it and we know what she endured in those 3 months where she kept mum about lunatic

and arnav to be honest never got fursat ke din...he has been always toiling and hence he didnt knew what to do when the fursat ke din were in sight and predictably he messed up

oh my god me too!!! I’m a fanatic for this era of Bollywood music. Scratch that, I’m a fanatic for any era of Bollywood music. I’m one of those people who shamelessly enjoy all faces of it!!!

Ashvini your last two lines really got to me 💔 so apt for these two!

Yeahhhh bring it on. I am old Bollywood music enthusiast as well. I have my brother to thank for. In childhood he was my hero so all his choices became mine and he made sure I learn all of the old classics and also read lots and lots of novels.
