KL Rahul: Very disappointing. At the start of the season, I felt we had a very strong season and most basis covered. Couple of injuries happen to every season and team but the guys who went away dented us a little bit. We didn't play well enough collectively and couldn't come together as much as we wanted to. Today was the kind of game we wanted to play more when the bowlers and batters both come together. Really happy for them (the youngsters), we spent a lot of time and energy with the squad, the support staff and we had sent Mayank and Yudhvir to South Africa to train with Morkel. They got good facilities to train with. (Will he continute to open in T20s?) Maybe, maybe not, there's not much T20 cricket coming up [for me] now. It depends on where I stand and what I need to do to get back in the team, I'll think about what the team needs. (Was Pooran batting too low down the order?) Not really, we'd have ideally wanted him to bat higher but how the teams line up is how the international players slot to absorb the pressure. Once Stoinins was at No. 3, we couldn't have had Pooran after him to have them bat in the 8th or 9th over together.

Nicholas Pooran | Player of the Match: For me personally I felt I had to do my job. Finishing the innings has been challenging sometimes especially in Lucknow. I have been practising for a number of years and it's about putting together all the experience and make it count. I have batted at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 but if I had to choose I like the powerplay. I can't be selfish and the beauty of my batting is I can bat at any position. I'm just blessed and I have a second chance to play this game again. Back then 8 years back when I had an accident I thought I will enjoy the game and grateful that teams supported me and backed me and it's only fair from me to give enjoyment back to them. It's definitely gonna move there. It's at home and we are looking forward to it. The last couple of years have been difficult for the men from the Caribbean and we are looking forward to doing something special for the people back home.

Not at all the season Mumbai would've hoped for after their bold and hotly debated captaincy shuffle. They finish right at the bottom of the table and it's the second time that's happened in three years now. They had a pretty good opportunity of giving their fans something to cheer about tonight but it wasn't to be. As for LSG, not the ideal campaign for them either. They never really picked up steam and will brood over the 'what-ifs' as they miss out on qualification quite narrowly. So, that leaves looking forward to the much anticipated clash between RCB and CSK tomorrow.

LSG certainly had the potential to make the playoffs but were their own worst enemies at times.

If QdK was in form and Mayank injury free, they should've made it to the playoffs.

Nicky P was great for them this season.
