Surya challenges Imlie to show him how she can manage to earn their meals by honest hard work . She accepts the challenge and refuses to eat anything he offers which is acquired by his rowdiness. He tries to feed her kachori but she declines .
Imlie tries her hand at cleaning parked cars , she fails to ear anything . She sings bhajan at the Ganga ghat and her melodious voice is appreciated by everyone and they leave money on her pallu . surya watches her talent n is impressed .
She buys kachories and they both eat with their honest hard earned money . They have their nok jhok .
At Reddy house Arjun learns that Anjali was Surya’s ex Girlfriend and she was going to banaras and was planning to harm Imlie . Surya asks Arjun tk do what ever he can to stop Anjali from leaving. Arjun uses Indira Chachi and Dada ji to stop Anjali and Malti leave the house but invites Anjali’s mother over for dinner . Anjali is unable to refuse Indira Chachi and drops her plans to visit Banaras .
Next day Indira wins Dada ji’s heart by offering him some excellent filter coffee. She tries to instigate him against Imlie the bar singer amd wants Anjali to be the bahu . Dada ji explains that Imlie’s husband knew everything about her n yet he married her , there must be more into this issue , Advises Indira to stop looking back n give herself more pain, she should move ahead n make plans for future . Indira is disappointed.

In presence of Abba , Nirmala and Malti , Indira accuses Imlie of doing contract marriage with Agasthya for the greed of money and freeloading In this lavish mansion. Imlie is shocked n hurt . Indira continues that she had trapped Surya for the same and she will no longer allow this to happen. Imlie states she never wanted their money or property , she accepts all the causations since they all hated her so much . . Since the rules of this house is that women will not work , so she being unable tk change the rule decides to leave this house . She walks out breaking all ties with Surya .
