Imlie Chatting Corner # 12 - Page 6

The only SP show Ive followed after MHRW was Imlie season 1 Arylie track that too I left before the separation.

I don't like seeing living room tamasha and insults for the female lead or third angle where the male leads are shown to be spineless.

The new show promo was so bad, I have no words. They need to show personality of the female lead. Imlie was so spunky and had charm in the Agastya track. Why would the audience tune in to watch a show that does not look appealing.

I’m getting confused with do multiple threads. Can’t understand who is chatting with whom.

We talk about wanting Thehrav in Imlie show...

Sometimes we also feel ki Agaslie ka story went ahead in an Shatabadi express way...

But PS me they are showing wedding festivities in the same outfits for last 2 weeks.. Does it really help with TRPs.. Do ppl really not get bored of such stretched episodes too...

Jhi-tv ke most shows prolong events and functions for weeks and months.. and their TRPs aren't great either..

I am just curious what works and what not..

Sometimes I also get the feeling whether the Imlie makers intentionally fast forwarded Agaslie's love story towards the end after mask killer was revealed.. Cos they were over confident about Surya's track getting good traction..

There is a vast difference between Agasthya and Surya. Agasthya would have married Nayontara even if she was pregnant with someone else's child if he had not heard Sonali's plan whereas Surya cheated Anjali. How much Gul try to whitewash him but Surya is a villain in my eyes. He has spoiled a innocent girl year by framing her.

If the show is ending the perfect climax will be Imlie dying saving Surya from goons by uniting Surya with Anjali. In the ending credit they can show Imlie & Agasthya in the heaven teasing each other having their moments. Agasthya prasing imlie for always keeping his family before her happiness 😊

bold: Yes .Agastya death wasn't written for creative purpose but only for commercial value. They wanted to break their own trp record of 2.3 and wanted to do it through shock value of male lead death. But it backfired heavily

I feel the following reasons for Agastya ka death

- first and foremost the creatives were way too confident that with the same Jodi they can create the magic all again.
- they miscalculated Agastya ka impression on the audience. They thought only 2 timing MLs are flavor of the season.

- all the potential kalesh storylines got exhausted in the show. After all the troubles Agastya-Imlie went through it really was not feasible to separate them for small reasons like ex coming back. Even Binni track would not be there as Agastya telling the truth means she would have zero standing in the house.

- So they went ahead with Agastya death and bought in Surya. They could have done memory loss track but they miscalculated the introduction and got Raghu as the starting point.

- Had they gotten Binni kicked out and Chaudharys accepting Imlie then after a year or so Surya - Imlie meeting and the Anjaana kashish between them with Imlie doubting him to be her babu and family not believing, it would have been awesome.

Slowly they could have shown Tayiji ka possessiveness and we could have been given hints that Tayiji lost her son and she might have exchanged the bodies on the accident day and Surya is Agastya only the story would have worked wonders. Imlie could have gotten her Satyavan back just like Savitri.

But apni creative team has to go ahead and kill the golden goose in their greed
