Rajvir Jawanda remains in critical state, hospital issues medical bulletin on his condition

Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda was left critically injured after a road accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district on Saturday. Police said he lost control of his motorcycle in the Baddi area while on his way to Shimla.

According to officials, Jawanda was immediately rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali for treatment. Reports suggest his condition remains critical, and he reportedly suffered a heart attack during the transfer, which further complicated his health.

Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda was referred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, on 27th September and reported in the Emergency at 1:45 PM in an extremely critical condition. As per available information, he had sustained severe head and spine injuries in a road accident earlier in the morning and had also suffered a cardiac arrest at the Civil Hospital before being transferred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali. On arrival, he was immediately assessed by the Emergency and Neurosurgery teams. Detailed examinations and investigations were carried out, and he was placed on advanced life support at Fortis Hospital Mohali. He is currently on ventilator support and remains in a critical state under close monitoring.

Born in 1992 in Ludhiana, Punjab, Rajvir Jawanda initially aspired to join the police force before shifting to music after his education. He made his debut in 2014 with the single Munda Like Me, which opened doors to a successful musical journey.

Over the years, Jawanda gained recognition with tracks like Sardaari, Mera Dil, Rabb Karke, Zor, and Kali Jawande Di. Known for blending folk and devotional roots with contemporary Punjabi pop, he carved a distinct place for himself in the industry.

In addition to singing, Jawanda also acted in Punjabi films and collaborated with several artists, including Maninder Buttar for the song Vair. His growing presence both in music and on screen helped him amass 2.4 million Instagram followers, making him one of the popular names among younger audiences.

The news of his accident has left fans and industry colleagues deeply concerned. Social media has been filled with messages praying for his recovery, with many recalling his contributions to Punjabi music and culture.
