The show begins with Annapurna Daadi asking Agasthay to get married soon so that she can fulfill her late son wishes of making their business to international levels . Agasthay refuses to get married , his declaration shocks the entire family . He points out to various failed marriages in the family n declares he had no faith in the institution of marriage.

Daadi tries to persuade him lovingly . But he refuses tk give in . Daadi then gets annoyed and declares that he better see a girl n finalise marriage within two weeks or she will give the entire management of their business over to Sonali .

Sonali confronts Daadi that she was biased and was favouring Agasthya . Daadi states she was going tk give the management to the person who is capable . Sonali then reveals how much profit their business had earned in one day . Agasthya confronts her for the adulteration that was going on in their sweets . He reveals how he had to pay fine to enforcement officers who had done checking n found their “khoya” adulterated. Sonali is red faced .

Daadi accuses her of being incapable of managing business

After Daadi leaves Agasthay wonders where to find suitable girl from. Sonali wonders of Agasthaybwas going tk find a girl she will prevent his marriage at all costs .

Imlie lies and hood winks Maami , to escape from her tortures and run off to Choudhary sweets to prepare dishes as demanded by Agasthya .

She lies tk Maami to escape from visiting the Seth ji’s house to sing at his private function as she fears for her safety there . Maami has eyes only on money and she is not bothered about Imlie or her safety .

Imlie also makes excuses of sore throat and escapes from Deshi Theka bar to go to Choudhary mansion to prepare the dinner for his investors to impress them.
