Imlie is very much interested in participating in the best chef contest being held at Choudhary sweets , she wonders how to escape from maami’s close watch , because she will surely deny her the chance . She is burdened by Maami and Step sister Bulbul,with loads of clothes repairing work .. Imlie is over burdened while Maami and Bulbul enjoy their relaxed life in the village .
Imlie soon hoodwinks Maami by disguising as Mama ji and escapes from the house from right under Maami’s nose .
Funny scene as Maami thinks it’s mama ji himself n tries to flirt with him, Imlie then scoots from there on her cycle. Brandishing a bottle of country liquor to fol Maami .
At Choudhary mansion Agasthya shares his plans with his friend n close buddy Jigs . He shares how much he missed his elder bro n dad . They had set up this business through hard work. He laments how his elder bro got trapped by a village girl n she. Destroyed him n he was gone . He hated village girls and he shares how he would never let any village girl near his chef contest . He feels ll villagers were poor people n were always trying to trap rich men to get rich . He hates village n poor people .
Imlie is hindered by flat tyre problem. She seeks lift from Agasthya who was proceeding towards Choudhary sweets . he asks Imlie for directions noticing her standing by the road side n he presumes it to be n old man.
Imlie offers to guide him n is offered a lift . Agasthya soon realises that this was no old man but a young girl who fooled him. His hatred for village girls comes flooding to his mind .
Imlie reaches the contest venue , she is first refused by the guard at the entrance , she fights /argues and some how managed to enter , she is handed form to fill up , she fails to read the English form n fills up in Hindi with what ever data she has in mind.when the from reaches Agasthya he reject the person outrightly even with out meeting the person. He refuses to allow uneducated person into his business .
Imlie refuses to accept rejection n declares that the owner was scared of her n was not even allowing her to compete . Sh demands she be given a chance to prove herself
Agasthya accepts her challenge n gives her a chance .
