I think the accident never happened,it's all cheeni's plan,somehow she save arto & manipulated him..seeds the missunderstanding..why Atharv didn't talked about accident,he always talked about Imlie & his family betrayed him..don't know when all missunderstanding got sorted and real mastermind came out..

I think cheeni is pretending to be good because she do want Athlie live a happy life with their daughter & family..

yeah that’s another angle … may be Arto was not in the car that fell off the cliff because they never found any body . It’s possible Cheeni has got him into another car and fakes that accident to show Imlie n the world . But they did show Arto when that accident happened ..
