That's the biggest self prophecy of this show. Aditya tries to fight against it tooth and nail for the sake of his promise and sense of commitment towards Malini

He's trying to fight not his destiny, but his own heart. Abhi ek din raha hai Pagdandiya mein Imlie ke sath , and already he's started to grow concern for her. So just think what'll be his condition when he'll stay for weeks and months in her contact.

When he just came back to Delhi after his 1st marriage , all his attention was focused on fulfilling his marriage promise to Moon and even then he was torn just on the day of marriage, that sense of wrongness pervading his heart.

Pad use laga ki ek bar shadi ho jaye Moon se , then life is sorted . He was looking at it like an end point.

Chalo shadi ho gaya Moon se and baki sare post wedding rituals bhi ho gaye , but Aditya couldn't shake off Imlie's presence. He couldn't help being affected by her staying at their house and soon realized it's going to affect his marital life with Moon , because he can't ignore her. Even when he's scolding her, he's acknowledging his presence. He doesn't scold Sundar all the time. He's not hyper aware of his existence like he's about Imlie. So he decided to drop her off to Pagdandiya. But here he spent some time with her even though unwillingly and couldn't help but get affected by her.

He's going to continue his Moon chant for a long long time but with each passing day his heart will inch closer to Imlie.

Malini is a good person and she's Imlie's sister , uske sath kuch bura nehi hoga. Or else even Imlie's happiness will remain incomplete.

Because that's the kind of person Imlie is. Her happiness is complete only when every one around her is happy. She's selfless to a fault aur use sab ka dhyan hai aur fikar bhi. Yahi baat Imlie ki sabse khaas hai aur isi se wo sabka man jit leti hai. She already loves Malini as her big sister , how much will she love her when she'll found out she's actually her half sister?

She won't let Aditya have her until and unless Malini's happiness is also secured. That's where Ishant comes into picture , he'll give Malini the love she deserves, the passionate love instead of friendship wala love.

Aditya never loved Malini like a man loves a woman , which is why he made her wait for 7years. Aditya always hesitated in taking the next big step , their marriage and kept her waiting all these years. What are his excuses ?? Imlie was not even in the picture at that time. He was unsure of their relationship all the time.

In fact Aditya married Imlie to prove to his fate and Imlie that this gunpoint marriage doesn't matter to him , that he won't let others force his fate, basically an act of defiance or rebel. Malini ke liye hum apni kismat se lad jayenge ..

Would he have actually gone forward with the marriage with Malini after coming back to Pagdandiya, if the forced marriage didn't happen ?? We don't know.

Passionate love wo to bas Imlie se kar sakta hai.

Like Archie said countless times , Baha is his first and last love and he never loved Kamalika the way a lover does. Aditya will realize that too and let Moon go so that she can get that kind of love from someone else . It's only fair.

Aisa Aditya kalpana se pade hai keu ki Aditya ne kabhi pyar nehi kya.

How can we expect to see a passionate Aditya ,an emotionally wrought Aditya when he never fell in love in the first place ?? Imlie will be his first love and all these hitherto unseen new shades of his personality will also come out .

Even before Aditya met Imlie for the 1st time , when I saw him with Moon , they screamed best friends , lover vibes kahi se bhi nehi the. Wish they'd figured of out before their marriage. Lot of complications could have been averted.

Aditya and Malini's marriage won't break because of Imlie. In ki marriage to kabhi hona hi nehi tha.

I’m loving these scenes which have Adi introspecting on why he reacts & feels a certain way towards Imlie. Be it the scene where he wondered why he speaks rudely & becomes a different person when she comes in front of him or the more recent one when he was wondering why he isn’t feeling happy about finally leaving all of his troubles behind & is instead constantly worried for Imlie. He’s starting to fall for her but there’s just too much clouding his judgement (freakin “moon” eclipse😈) that it’ll take time to realise it. They shouldn’t rush it for sure cos the slow burn is what I’m here for. 😊
