The fact that she didn't want to marry like the other village girls is the only reason she's still keeping it together and most of the times being her usual cheerful goofy self. If any thing some times I find it a bit unrealistic how quickly she's coping and adjusting with her entire world getting topsy turvy. A girl not even 18 is not supposed to be so mature.
She's been brought to think of marriage as sacred and unbreakable. Yes ,the traditional marriage only. Not the paper one. Registration and all that is inconsequential and meaningless in Pagdandiya. Yaha kachhi sadak nehi pahuch payi to aap ka kanun kaise ayega
So it's basically her upbringing aka sanskar aka brain washing and it takes time to wash off .
Some times it never does. Not that people from the city are free from such brainwashing. They've their own version.
She's of course hurt that he took no steps to even acknowledge their marriage, even if as a problem. He literally brushed it under the carpet like it has never happened. She's not in love with him or even particularly respect him the way she does his elder family members .
I feel connected with her when she cries , it makes her real , relatable and I'd take that over an unrealistic strong version at this point in the story. Strong hone ke liye pura time bacha hai. Also Aditya verbally abuses her most of the times really badly , koi bhi ro padega. I burst into tears sometimes by just listening as a viewer just think how she might feel. I'd be crying all the time too if I were her.
The only thing , however , I do not want is for her to show her tears in front of Aditya so that he thinks his words his anger matters to her and he's power over her. She shouldn't give him that edge . I'd like her to excuse herself and cry her hearts out in private. Sometimes Aditya comes to her to see her crying , he's such a sadist at times.👎🏼
About her education, the only way she can even hope of continuing with her studies is by staying at Tripathi house and for that she's desperately holding onto the job.
If she leaves the house she'll remain uneducated for life and all her big dreams will always remain incomplete.
