I was absolutely not expecting that. He is someone who generally only cooks egg and bread so to have him cook chicken, shred it, mix it with a dressing and then make a sandwich was too much work in the kitchen, honestly.

I hate store bought mayo so I make a small batch of garlic mayo (vegetarian) from scratch every weekend and it lasts about 2 weeks. My dad uses that whenever he wants to eat salami sandwich for breakfast.
For Lunch had rice, daal and yogurt.
