Part 32

Two months passed by with happiness.Khushi and Arnav's romance bloomed and they spent as much as time as they could with each other.One day Khushi was going shopping alone since the rest of the family seemed a bit busy "Bye" Khushi said as Arnav got in his car to go to office.

Khushi nodded and smiled as she waved bye to him.

It was 4 PM.Arnav was in his cabin,typing on his laptop.Suddenly his phone began ringing.Private number showed on his cell.Arnav picked it up "Hello?" No one said anything "Hello?" he repeated.No one answered "Wrong number" he muttered and he cut the call.

He didn't know why but he didn't feel good.It was like a feeling that was telling him something was about to happen,but he couldn't tell what.He remembered what had happened the previous time he felt that and panicked.Dialing Khushi's number,he waited impatiently for her to pick up "Hello" Khushi said cheerfully.

"Khushi" he breathed.

Suddenly the line got cut but not before he heard Khushi scream.

"Khushi!" Arnav called out alarmed but was given no reply except for a long beep sound indicating the call was cut.Arnav called her again but it said her phone was switched off.He kept on trying to contact her but she never answered.He called home.Priya answered "Hello"

"N-nothing" Arnav cut the call.He didn't want to tell the family the terrifying phone call he had with Khushi.He called Khushi's driver,Mohan but he didn't answer.It said his phone wasn't reachable like Khushi's.He didn't know how many times he called their phones again and again and for how long.It was until he got a phone call from the hospital "H-hello"

"Is this Arnav Singh Raizada?" said a unknown,female voice.

Arnav lost his breath "Which h-hospital?"

Arnav cut the call not waiting any longer and rushed out of his office as fast as he could.He drove his car so fast,there was no doubt he broke all the traffic rules.He ran to the receptionist of the hospital "M-my wife,K-Khushi Singh R-Raizada,which room"

Seeing the disheveled man in front of her,the receptionist told him "Room 126"

Arnav rushed looking everywhere to find that room.Once he found it,he burst through the door,looking in every direction.Khushi lay on a hospital bed with her eyes closed.A small bandage covered the corner of her forehead with a small blood stain.Arnav rushed to her.Grabbing her arms,he pulled her up in a sitting position.Khushi snapped open her eyes and looked at him,shocked "Khushi..Khushi are you okay?Are you hurt?Why do you have this bandage on your forehead?Does it hurt?Why did-"

"Arnav Arnav,calm down..I am okay" interrupted Khushi.

"But how" he whispered.

Arnav nodded and hugged her tightly "Thank god you are okay..I didn't know what I'd do without you"

Khushi smiled and hugged him back.She leaned towards his ear and whispered "Arnav...I am pregnant"

Arnav gasped and parted.He looked at her "Really?"

Khushi nodded "One month"

"Hmm" He hugged her again "Are you both okay?" Khushi nodded,closing her eyes "I can't believe I am going to be a father again...I will definitely not miss this experience"

Khushi tightened her grip around Arnav's shoulders "I can't wait" she whispered.

Arnav talked to the doctor and found out Khushi also had a sprained ankle which should recover in less than a week.Arnav went back to Khushi's room and saw her trying to stand up,holding the bed as support.He rushed up to her and picked her up in his arms "Arnav" she gasped.

"You should be resting" said Arnav smiling at her.

"Arnav,put me down" Arnav shook his head and carried her through the hall "Arnav,people are looking at us" she whispered.

He looked at her "I don't care"

Khushi just held Arnav's neck and hid her face against his chest.

The family rushed towards Arnav and Khushi's room when they saw Arnav carrying Khushi there "What happened" asked Nani.

"Khushi had an accident" answered Arnav.

"But how?" asked Arjun (Arnav's Father).

Arnav shrugged "I don't know how but the car's brakes weren't working" The family just remained confused until Arnav announced "Khushi's pregnant" The family burst into smiles and grins and immediately crowded Khushi.They congratulated her and talked with her happily and also adviced a few things.They were discussing with Khushi until Arnav annouced "I am leaving with Khushi and Aarav and going to Goa for a year"

i think arnav is planning to enjoy with his family in goa.

is someone after khushi ???? is that shyam's work???

is that why arnav planned the goa thing.😕❓
