Maanvi tightly squeezed her eyes shut and pushed her head into Virat's chest as she mumbled the three magic words as if her and Virat were defining them once again.
Maanvi: I love you Virat.

Chapter 19
Maavni looked into his beautiful eyes. He loved her so much, far more than she could imagine. Viren and Jeevika entered the room a few minutes later. They were shocked at what Virat had done for Maanvi. It was least expected but very much valued. Viren appreciated his brother for the sacrifice he made but Jeevika instead asked him a question.
Jeevika: You love her? Don't you?
Virat looked down at the floor and nodded.
Jeevika: Neeche kyun dekh rahey ho Virat? Jo tumney kiya hai vo shayad koy iss duniya mein kar patha? Neechey math dekho Virat, upar dekho, muskurao.
Viren: Aur apni Maanvi kya dhyaan bhi rakho.
Maanvi blushed and Virat smiled.
Maanvi: Di, aapko yaad hai. Meinney aapke mehendi ek gaana gaya thaa.
Jeevika: Haa, tunney gaya thaa Didi Thera Dewar Deewana.
Jeevika paused for a second. Maanvi and her were speaking through their eyes.
Jeevika: Bilkul theek gana gayaa thaa tuney Mannu.
Virat smiled again in an embarrassed manner.
Jeevika: Likin Mannu, tunney ussmey ek line gaya thaa jo galath hai.
Maanvi: Aur vo kya Di?
Jeevika: Mushkil hai yun mujhko phasaana. Yad hai?
Maanvi: hai.
Jeevika: Likin Virat ne tho tujhey phasaaliya.
Maanvi blushed and Virat was embarrassed.
Maanvi: Di! Shh!
Viren: haye haye! Mr and Mrs Vadhera Jnr sharmaa rahey hai!
VirIka and VirMan laughed together for a while.
Viren: Virat, dekh, ghar waalo ko tho ye sab patha lagna hi hai na thorey der mein.
Virat: Bhay likin-
Viren: Dekh Virat, sabko path chal hi jaayega. Such ko math chupaa, bathaa dey.
Whilst tying a bandanna around Maanvi's head to protect it from infections, Jeevika agreed with Viren.
Virat: Theek hai bhay, mein batha doonga sabko, aaj hi.
About half an hour later Viren, Jeevika, Virat and Maanvi went down to dinner. Virat had assured Maanvi not be embarrassed. She couldn't control her side effects, they had to happen. Everyone felt sympathetic towards Maanvi and understood Virat's sacrifice except for Swamini.
Swamini: Virat? Yeh kyaa mazaak hai? Tumney Maanvi kiliye apne baal katwaaliye?
Virat: Aapko issmey mazaak kyu dikh raha hai Bua?
Swamini: Issmey mazaak nahi hai tho kya hai Virat? Kyu katey tumney apney bal? Maanvi to sirf tumhaari dost hai na? Tho tumney apney baal usske liye kyu katwaa liye?
Virat didn't even think once before saying it.
Virat: Kyunki mein Maanvi se pyaar kartha hoon.
The whole family froze. How could Virat love Maanvi? She had CANCER?
Swamini Bua: Virat? Ye kya kehe rehe ho tum? Pagal hogaye ho kya?
Virat: Mein such kehe raha hoon Bua. I love Maanvi.
Swamini Bua: Hum iss rishtey ko kabhi nahi sweekarngey Virat.
Maanvi: Bua Ji-
Swamini: Tum chup raho Maanvi! Tumhaari vajey se aaj hummara ghar ko ye din dekhna par raha hai.
Virat: Maanvi ke khilaaf math bulye Bua. Mujhsey sehen nahi hoga. Usski galthi nahi hai, aur ussey koy doshi bhi nahi tehe raaye gaa. Mainney jo kiya hai, apney pyaar kiliye kiya hai. Kissi ko shikaayad ho tho vo mujhey daatey, Maanvi ko nahi.
In saying this Virat took Maanvi's hand and led her up to his room again.
He snuggled her in his arms on his bed and pulled the quilt over the top.
Maanvi: Koy hummarey rishte ko nahi apnaa ye gaa Virat. Koy hummey ek nahi hone dega. Sab mujhey ek patient ki tharhaa se dekhthey hai so thorey din mein, thorey din mein iss duniya se challi jayeg-
Virat put his lips on Maanvi's to stop her from saying anything else. He pulled her closer to him and kissed her a little more.
Virat: Mujhey koy parvaa nahi hai Maanvi ki duniya kya soch thi hai. Tum merri ho, aur mein tumhaara hoon aur iss haqeekat ko koyi bhi nahi badal saktha.
Maanvi: Badal nahi saktha Virat likin isska mathlab nahi hai ki koy iss haqeekat ko sweekarega.
Virat: Sweekarnaa parey gaa Maanvi. Jo likha, vo hoke rahey gaa. Tum merri ho ke raho gi.
Virat pulled her on top of him and kissed her. He needed her the most right now. He didn't want anyone else but her. Then VirMan fell asleep.
When they woke up again it was evening and Virat wanted to take Maanvi out to cheer her up because she was still slightly upset from SB's words.

Virat told VirIka that he was taking Maanvi out of the house for a change in environment and they agreed. Virat took Maanvi for a long drive out in the open where she could get some fresh air. He sand her a song whilst in the car:

VirMan enjoyed their evening out together so amazingly. They loved being with each other and they finally enjoyed life to the fullest.
After a while when it began to get darker Virat took Maanvi into a garden which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. It was beautifully lit with fairylights. It seems like they were in heaven.
Maanvi stepped forward and began appreciate the garden's beauty. When she turned around Virat wasn't there and suddenly all the lights went out. The garden was dark and Maanvi scared.
Maanvi: Virat?
Maanvi called his voice through her shivering lips but he didn't respond.
Maanvi: Virat? Virat? Virat?
Maanvi took a step but she tripped over a stone and was about to fall when he caught her in his arms. Maanvi smiled of relief and all her fear disappeared.
Maanvi: Kaha chaley gaye thhey tum Virat? Mein kithna dargayi thi!
Maanvi swang her arms over Virat's shoulders and hugged him tight. Virat storked her hair gently.
Virat: Mein yahi hoon Maanvi, hamesha tumharrey paas.
Maanvi hugged him tighter and Virat kissed the side of her neck. She blushed like crazy and broke apart from his hold. They rested their foreheads on each other's and closed their eyes. Maanvi was expecting him to kiss her lips but he didn't. Instead, when she opened her eyes she found him on his knees in front of her.
Maanvi: Virat?
Virat took something out of his pocked. He opened it and Maanvi saw the most beautiful ring ever.
Virat: Maanvi, will you marry me?
