P: "Tell me again, why did u go back to work under ur devil again?
K: "Well he apologized...
They were currently in their bedroom... Tanvi had facemask on... while Pakhi was painting her finger nails..
P: "So? Big deal?
K: "It is big deal... Not many would apologise like that after everything... Especially man like him...
P: "Are you sure that's it?, she asked teasingly.
K: "What do u mean?, she asked frowning.
T: "Oh come on pakhi... she is secretly crushing over her boss..., she said removing the cucumber from her eyes.
Kalpi could feel heat rushing to her face.
K: " no im not... he realized his mistake and apologized... is it wrong to forgive if someone apologised?, she asked.
P: "Well if its some other guys I would say that... But we r talking about Raghav Aryan Patel here...
K: "What?
T: "What she meant was that guy is hot... and u don't feel anything towards him? That's hard to believe...
K: "Why u guys always talk about how hot he is... I know he is hot... like super hot... but doesn't mean i should declare my undying love towards him...
Pakhi and Tanvi looked towards each other...
K: "what?, she asked irritated.
T: "Well from hideous monkey face to hot.. nope super hot... that's a big jump..., she teased.
K: "U guys are so annoying..., saying so she threw her pillow at tanvi while pakhi laughed.
The sudden shrill of her phone disturbed their so called conversation.
P: "Speak of the devil... Here darling ur devil is calling...
Kalpi snatched her phone from her hand.
K: "Hello dev...I mean boss..., she glared at tanvi and pakhi who snickered silently.
R: "Miss kalpana... be there at the office at 6 am sharp...
K: "6am? Why? Office starts at 8..
R: "I have a meeting with the paris delegates later tomorrow and I have some work to do before that...
K: "Why should I come early? Im just a PA..., she whined like a child.
R: "Be there at 6 sharp. You will be fired if u r late.
K: "But..
R: "Bye...
K: "Wait, hello?, she looked at her phone screen and frowned angrily because he cut the call.
K: "Asshole..., she muttered before throwing her phone on her bed.
She looked at her friends who had amusing looks on their faces.
K: " Do u guys see that? God personally sent him to this world to torture me... Why would I feel anything towards that jerk?
P: "Seems like he wants to spend more time with u...
T: "And since u guys will be alone tomorrow morning, who knows, he might give u a kiss kalpi.., she said wiggling her eyebrows.
K: "God... u two are impossible... stop reading all those sappy romance novels...
T: "What are u doing?, she asked.
K: " Im going to sleep so that I don't become a zombie and kill my boss tomorrow morning...
Kalpana came to Sapphire sharp at 6am... She greeted the watchman at the entrance and got to know that her boss has not arrived yet. She went towards the lift but stood there waiting not taking the lift. She is claustrophobic and after that break down incident she doesn't want to be in a lift alone. She was looking at her phone.
R: "Why are u standing here?
K: "Gosh... u scared the hell out of me..., she said placing her hand on her chest.
R: "Im glad... now answer my question...
K: " I just...(she looked at the lift and at him)... I was just going to go..., she lied not wanting to tell him about her fear.
Raghav looked at the lift and smirked at her.
R: "Oh really? I thought u were scared to take the lift alone..., he said smirking.
K: "Im not scared..., she snapped with narrowed eyes.
Raghav shook his head with a small smile.
R: "Whatever u say miss kalpana..., he pressed the lift button for it to open.
R: "Are u coming or gonna stand there trying to kill me with those eyes?
Kalpi huffed before going inside the lift.
Kalpi tried to stifle a yawn that escaped her mouth.. she was so sleepy.. She looked at Raghav who looked so fresh and alert.
K: "How come u look so awake this early? U r not sleepy?
R: "No... im an early riser... well, I cant say the same about u I think...
K: "Whatever... I still cant understand why I should be here?, she said rolling her eyes.
R: "Well I want u to analyse the old folders in the archives room and make a file on the company's turnover for the past 3 years... we need to give it to the paris delegates when we meet them at the yacht for a lunch meeting...
K: " Wait... what do u mean by we? Why do I need to come? And do notes on the 3 years turnover that's hell lots of work...
R: "yes u r coming with me as well because u r my PA... and yes that's a lots of work.. that's y I asked u to come earlier genius..., he said emphasizing the genius word.
Kalpi huffed and get out of the lift when the lift reached their floor...
K: " I don't feel like a PA... Lot more like a slave.., she mumbled walking ahead of him.
R: "Did u say anything? I cant hear it..., he said although he clearly heard what she said...
K: "Nothing boss... I said im so excited to do the work..., she said giving a fake smile.
R: " Great... I want it done before lunch... Now go work..., saying so he went to his cabin ignoring kalpi who was throwing daggers from the back...
Around 11am, raghav came out of his office. He saw Sammy talking to Hina just in front of kalpi's cabin.
R: "Sam... I need u to go and look at the new designs maya made... I have to go meet the paris delegates...
S: "Sure... by the way where's cindy?, he asked showing kalpi's cabin.
Raghav couldn't help but feel annoyed.
R: " Im not her PA sam... and what's with this cindy? Her name's kalpana..., he said irritated.
S: "Dude chill... I was simply asking... and I like calling cindy... she doesn't have any problem with that... so calm down...
R: "Whatever... now instead of flirting with the female employees, go meet maya...
S: "Fine old man... im going... don't turn into hulk..., he said raising his hands like surrendering.
Raghav rubbed his face with his palm for loosing it. He looked at kalpi's cabin and sighed. He went towards the archives room to find her. As confirming his suspicions, she was there... She was standing on a stool trying to arrange dozens of files she was holding in one hand... He was about to call her but her voice stopped him...
K: "He is such a monster... who else? My boss, The Devil...
Raghav noticed that her talking in a phone which was held in between her shoulder and her ear while she was arranging the files on the top compartment of the shelves. He decided to listen to her talking about him while leaning against the other shelve behind her...
K: " No... That heartless man made me analyse data of 3 years... can u believe it? I typed 50 pages from morning... my fingers are jammed... my eyes are burning from lack of sleep and reading every single file..., she sighed heavily.
Raghav raised his eyebrows amused.
K: "U know what? I felt like throwing these files at his flawless face...
Raghav smirked when she said flawless face. He was enjoying hearing his PA talking about him.
K: "I tell u what? Prison.. no... hell... hell would be a better place than working under this devil...
R: "Oh really?, he asked coolly.
His voice startled her, and her legs slipped of the stool... She screamed closing her eyes anticipating a painful fall... When feeling no pain, she opened her eyes slowly and she was greeted by the dark brown eyes of her boss... It took seconds to realize that she is in her boss's arms. He caught her before falling...
Their faces were so close that she could feel his hot breathe on her face. Raghav couldn't help but get lost in her beautiful doe-shaped black eyes... His eyes drifted to her plump rosy lips and back to her eyes. She felt herself blushing when she caught his action. She started to feel like a red tomato.
K: "Hmmm... can u put me down?, she said in a timid low voice...
Raghav smirked when he noticed the crimson colour that adorned her cheeks. So, he decided to play a little.
R: "What no thank you?, he teased still holding her.
K: "Well it was ur fault that I was going to fall... and I didn't remember asking u to help me..., she said narrowing her eyes.
R: "fine..., he pretended to drop her earning another screaming from her.
She held her hands tightly around his neck not wanting to fall... He tightened his hold again and chuckled causing her to glare at him.
R: "What? are u trying to burn my face with ur glare because its flawless?, he teased...
Kalpi was so embarrassed because she knew he heard her conversation with her friend...
K: "i... I..., she opened her mouth to speak but was cut short by another voice.
"Wow... isn't this a wonderful sight to see?
Raghav and kalpi looked at the entrance to find Yamini standing there with arms crossed against her chest and glaring at kalpi. Raghav carefully put kalpi down.
Y: "Are u trying to seduce my boyfriend b***h?, she came near them.
Kalpi widen her eyes shocked.
R: " Ex-boyfriend..., he said giving a pointed look towards Yamini.
Y: "Baby..., she started talking while placing her hand on his chest.
Raghav removed her hand from him.
R: " and that was not the way to talk to my employee... She was going to fall, and I helped her...
Kalpi looked at them talking.
Y: "but baby u cant believe this poor girls... They have their ways to get rich man like u..., she said touching his arm again.
Kalpi opened her to talk back but stopped when raghav talked again.
R: "That's enough Yamini... Apologise to her..., he said angrily.
Y: "what? i...
R: "Apologise. Now., he said with gritted teeth.
The anger in his voice even made kalpi to gulp. Fear engulfed Yamini's face.
Y: "Im sorry..., she said disgusted.
K: "Its ok... I have work.. so excuse me..., she said leaving those two alone.
Y: "Baby im sorry.. I was jealous... but u should be careful with those kind of girls... they are golddiggers..
R: "Yamini... There's nothing except professional relationship between u n me... I hope u get that in ur mind... and I don't appreciate u talking like that to my employee... don't forget u r an employee as well.. So, next time I wont go easy on u... Next time I will throw u out of this company and find some other model for the company... understand?
Y: "Yes..., she said timidly.
Raghav stormed out of the archives room leaving yamini seething in anger.
Raghav drank a full glass of water in one go while sitting on his chair at his cabin. He was so angry. He ran his hand through his hair frustrated. He was annoyed. The only reason Yamini still a model in Sapphire is because her father is a very close friend of his father. The biggest mistake he made was dating her a year back... She can't take a clue that he's no more interested in her because she is clearly not the one for him. He sighed and looked at his watch. It's time to meet the paris delegates. He called kalpi via the intercom.
R: "We will leave in 5 minutes.. be ready...
K: "Yes boss...
Her usual playful voice is gone. He knew that she was affected by Yamini's word. But she was nothing like yamini said. From the first time they met, he knew she is not the kind of girls who tries to lure him. For god's sake she called him hideous monkey face when she first met him. That was a complete opposite reaction he received from what he usually receive from the female population. He sighed and left the cabin.
PART 12: The biggest lie you ever told me

In the car...
R: "Sorry..., he said still looking in front of the road.
Kalpi looked at him confused.
K: "For what?
R: "For the way Yamini behaved this morning...
K: "It's ok... I already forgot it..., she said giving a small smile.
Few minutes passed in silence... Raghav was the first one to break the silence.
R: "She is not my girlfriend..., he said.
Kalpi turned to look at him with raised eyebrows.
R: "We r not in a relationship like she indicated... She is not my girlfriend...
K: "Why are u telling me this?, trying to hide her smile.
Raghav opened and closed his mouth before talking.
R: "Just... Nothing... Just like that..., kalpi nodded her head.
She turned her head towards the window and smiled widely.
They reached the yacht in half an hour... The white coloured yacht floated gloriously in the blue water...
K: "NINA..., kalpi read the name of the yacht.
R: "My mother's name..., he whispered holding his hand towards her to help her get inside the yacht.
K: "You must love ur mother so much that u named it after her... Im sure she is happy...
R: "Maybe... if she is alive..., he said before turning to the captain to give instructions.
Kalpi stood there frozen...
K: "Im... im sorry boss... I... I didn't know...
R: "Its alright... not a big deal... did u bring the files?, he said changing the subject.
Kalpi understood that he didn't wanna talk about it...
K: "Yes boss.. Here..., she said handling the file to him...
They sat on the chairs... While Raghav was busy studying the file, Kalpi leaned her elbow on the railing and admired the beautiful view of the horizon... The cool breeze, blue water of the sea and the sound of the waves calmed her... Raghav looked up at kalpi wanting to ask something about the presentation but left speechless looking at her... She looked surreal with breeze blowing her long hair. She looked so content and calm. He kept on staring at her.
K: "Boss... boss... boss...
Raghav came out of his trance hearing her calling him continuously.
R: "Yes?, he asked.
K: "Ur phone's ringing..., she said looking at his phone on the table.
Raghav nodded before attending the call.
R: " WHAT? WHAT DO U MEAN BY THEY ARE NOT COMING? SECOND MEETING? NO THERE WONT BE A SECOND MEETING... I SAID NO!!!, he cut the call angrily and threw the file angrily that it hit kalpi's leg.
K: "Ouch..., she said picking up the file and glanced at raghav.
Raghav glared at her and turned away.
K: "What happened boss? Is there any problem?
R: "Why would there be any problem? I like yelling because it's my favourite hobby..., he yelled at her.
K: "Why are you yelling at me?, she yelled back.
R: "The paris delegates cant come because they have some other work..., he said removing his jacket and threw it on the chair.
K: "Pffftt.. that's all? He is yelling like the world comes to an end..., she mumbled.
R: "What did u say?, he snapped.
K: "Nothing...
R: "I heard what u said..., he said narrowing his eyes.
K: "I said that u shouldn't get angry for such small issue...
R: "Small issue? Work is my life... and I hate it when people are irresponsible in doing their job...
Kalpi again mumbled something under her breath.
R: "If u have anything to say, say it to my face...
K: "Fine... To be honest, I think u r overreacting boss... I mean ur life is 24/7 all about work... and don't mind me, that's so boring...
R: "What? What do u want me to do then? Smile as widely as I can and be happy about it? Tell me something... if u r in my shoes, would u be happy when ur client cancels the meeting just 5 minutes before it?
K: "Of course not... Im not saying that u should act like the universe is full of rainbows and unicorns... and as for ur question, if I was in ur place, I would look at the positive side. For example I will enjoy this place and the scenery...
R: "Bullshit... U r talking like we r on vacation in Europe... we r in a yacht by the seashore... There's nothing to see...
K: "of course there r a lot of things we can do... we can go little further and reach the island on the other side... im sure there are a lot of fun activities... but u know what? I forgot im talking to someone like u...
R: "What do u mean someone like me? Do u think I cant have fun?
K: "Come on boss... u n me both know know u don't do fun... u r boring..., she taunted.
Raghav huffed angrily.
R: "R u challenging me? R u challenging Raghav Aryan Patel?
K: "How can I challenge you, the great Raghav Aryan Patel? U r my boss..., she gasped with fake fear...
R: "Fine... I accept ur challenge... im not ur boss today... lets see who wins...
K: "Fine by me..., she said smirking.
R: "But...

R: "u see im a businessman... I don't do bets without a price...
K: "Ok u tell me whats the price..
R: "Winner gets to ask the loser any question... and loser should answer it 100 percent honestly... no lies...
K: "Ok deal..., she said holding her hand towards him.
R: "Deal..., he shook her hand.
Half way through the sea, raghav asked the captain to stop the yacht.
K: "Why stop here?, she asked frowning.
R: "The challenge starts here...
K: "So whats the challenge?, she asked raising her perfectly shaped right eyebrow.
Raghav starts unbuttoning his shirt...
K: "What the hell!!! If u r suggesting any immoral thing, i..., she talked hastily hiding her eyes with her palm...
Raghav chuckled hearing her words.
R: "I don't think swimming is an immoral thing... whoever swims to the shore from here wins the first challenge...
K: "but I don't have any extra clothes...
Raghav opened his mouth to speak but kalpi cut him.
K: " no... if u suggest swimming in underwear, no im not gonna do that..., she said crossing her arms against her chest.
R: "I do have extra clothes in the yacht, so im going to swim..., saying so he jumped in sea.
K: " Wait!! That's not fair..., she shouted...
R: "See u in the shore, loser..., he swam towards the shore...
K: "JERK!!!, she shouted pouting.
Raghav 1 vs 0 Kalpi
At the island, they walked side by side on the beach... she walked pouting angrily... Raghav chuckled seeing her expression.
R: "Don't be a sore loser...
K: "U cheated..., she snapped.
R: "Have u heard of the proverb everything is fair in love and war?
Kalpi just rolled her eyes and walked straight. Suddenly, she stopped and held his wrist in her hand.. Raghav looked at their hands and then her face. There was some mischievous glint in her eyes and a wide grin decorated her face.
K: "Its my chance to decide the second challenge..., she said excitedly and left his hand to look at something in the front.
Raghav followed her eyes and saw a man selling pani puri.
R: "What's the challenge?
K: "Whoever eats more pani puris will win the round..., she said smiling smugly.
Raghav chuckled looking at her.
R: "u wanna compete me in eating pani puri? Don't take me wrong, but u r girl... im sure I can eat a lot more than u... plus, u r so tiny..., he said chuckling.
K: "big surprises come in small packages boss... Don't underestimate the power of a girl...
R: "Fine... who am I to stop u when u r so eager to loose? Lead the way..
They started eating one after another... At one point raghav can't keep eating anymore... but she kept on eating calmly... Raghav widened his eyes shocked.
R: "God! I cant anymore... how can u eat so much? U r so small..., he asked incredulously.
K: "I told you... don't underestimate me..., she said giving a winning smile.
R: "Fine u win this round...
Raghav was about to pay but kalpi stopped him holding his hand.
K: "Let me pay.. im the one who suggested this challenge...
R: "nope... im paying...
K: "fine... u pay half I pay half...
R: "Shut up... im paying...
Kalpana opened her mouth to protest but stopped when he gave her a deathly glaring.
Kalpana huffed annoyed.
K: "FINE!
Raghav 1 vs 1 Kalpi
When they were walking around the beach, some kids came running to them... Kalpi kneeled down in front of them.
K: "What is it darlings?
C1: "Didi, we r doing our school project here... u see the wall there we have to paint it creatively... can u help us?, a little boy asked adorably.
K: "of course sweetheart..., she said smiling and kissed the boy's forehead.
Soon the kids started dragging both kalpana and raghav by their hands to the wall... They started helping the kids paint... Kalpana dipped her hand in the red paint and pressed her palms on the wall... Suddenly she felt someone's presence at her back... before she could turn around another pair of hands pressed on the wall just beside her palms... She knew it was raghav... His front was so close to her back... She slowly turned around to face him... he had this child-like smile on his face... It made her smile as well... They stood there staring each other... Raghav made no effort to remove his hands from the wall trapping kalpi in between his arms... He looked at her eyes before drifting his eyes towards her plump rosy lips... Kalpi's lips parted slightly in shock noticing his action... Their trance was broken, when one of the kids called for kalpi... Kalpi blushed and ducked under his arms escaping. Raghav stood at the same position. He chuckled shaking his head...After half an hour,
K: "Now it's ur turn...
R: "Let me think..., he said looking around.
R: "Got it... Roll ur sleeves girl.. we r going fishing..., he said grinning.
K: "Fishing?, she asked in a squeaky voice.
R: " Yes fishing... what r u afraid?
K: "Afraid? Me? Why would I be?, she asked chuckling nervously.
R: "Yeah.. see im being fair... Ur hometown was near the sea... so, u have experience in fishing... so its fair.., he said walking ahead.
Obviously he was talking about Kalpana Jashwal's hometown.
K(to herself): " only if he knows that I never done fishing.. That to in London..., she sighed before following him.
After an hour,
R: "U really suck at fishing..., he laughed holding his stomach.
Kalpana looked at the two fish he caught (while she didn't catch any) and glared at him.
K: " Yeah... just because my hometown was near sea, i can make fishing my second career..., she said sarcastically rolling her eyes...
R: "You could have told me you don't know fishing..., he stated.
K: "Why? So that u can taunt me all the day about my incapability in fishing? No thanks..., she stomped and walked ahead.
Raghav 2 vs 1 Kalpi
He ran after her laughing...
R: "Whats next?
K: "I don't know... do u have any ideas?
R: "Lets go to that restaurant...
K: "Why? Im not hungry yet... u know I ate too many pani puris..., she said pouting while rubbing her tummy.
R: "we r not going there to eat...
K: "Then?, she asked confused.
R: "We r going to cook..., he grinned happily.
K(in mind): "Holy cows... how come this man knows all my weaknesses... I can't cook even when it comes to matter of life or death...
R: " are u there?, he said knocking her head tauntingly.
Kalpi swatted his hand away angrily and huffed.
K: "ok lets go cook... after this one more challenge and we r done.., she said thinking raghav might suck at cooking...
K(in mind): "After all he is a rich man... so obviously he has maids to cook for him... I cant be that worse compared to him...
Raghav talked to the restaurant owner and he happily obliged to let them cook... Once inside the kitchen, they wore the aprons and chef's hat. Raghav handed one of the fish he caught to kalpi and took another one to cook... Kalpi made a face at the fish and looked clueless on what to do... She glanced at raghav and saw him cleaning the fish... She followed his steps... They were busy cooking... Well raghav was cooking and kalpi well she tried to act like cooking... She was shocked to see raghav cutting the veges and cooking like a professional chef... She realized she made a huge mistake agreeing to this challenge... That man in front of her mastered cooking... she can even see by the way he held the knife... just like those in the masterchef competition...
She absentmindedly reached for the carrot in the basket the same time as raghav... Their hands touched and they looked at each other startled. Raghav asked her to take it.. She shook her head and asked him to take it... Raghav sighed and took the carrot and continued cooking... Throughout the whole time, kalpi stole secret glances at raghav... A small smile graced her lips when she realized that he is still so handsome even when wearing that cute apron and chef's hat... Soon after they finished cooking, they brought their dishes to the restaurant owner asking him to judge...
The owner first took a bite of the dish prepared by kalpi and spit it out immediately... he looked like he was going to throw up... He shook his head disappointedly towards kalpi making her pout sadly.. Then he ate the one prepared by raghav and smiled happily with a thumbs up... Raghav smirked at kalpi after winning...
Raghav 3 vs 1 Kalpi
R: "Didn't know u r this terrible in cooking..., he said.
K: "Yeah.. I suck at cooking.. so what?, she snapped.
R: "There's only one more challenge but u know that even if u win, im the winner overall...
Kalpi kicked the pebble on the beach annoyed...
R: "U know what? I give u one more choice... Lets forget the tally... whoever wins the last round is the winner... deal?
Kalpi narrowed her eyes at him thinking he is tricking her but soon agreed to the deal... They hopped onto the yacht...
K: "So, whats the challenge?
R: "How about a game of chess?
K: "Chess? Hell yes..., she said grinning..
She used to play chess all the time... even won competitions during her school and college days...
R: "Wow.. someone is excited... Did I enter my head inside the beast's cave?
Kalpi just shrugged smiling.
The game of chess went more intense than kalpi thought.. Raghav was equally good as her... He was also impressed by the way kalpi played... So, he thought the only way to win is to distract her.. He knew that she will be pissed but he doesn't want to miss her pouty face when she loose.
R: "im sure u boyfriend taught u how to play..., he said calmly.
K: "Boyfriend? I don't have any boyfriend... where do u get that from?, she asked frowning.
R: "Really? I thought girl like u already had a boyfriend..., he said shrugging.
K: "Girl like me?, she raised her eyebrows.
R: "Yeah... u know... clever, independent and pretty (he said pretty in husky voice), his words made her blush.
K: "U think im clever, independent and...pretty?, she whispered.
R: "Checkmate!
Kalpi came out of her trance and looked at the chess board...
K: "W..what? ho.. how?, she asked shocked and then realized he purposefully distracted her to win...
K: "That's not fair... u distracted me..., she whined.
R: "I won..., he said smirking devilishly.
K: "But u cheated!!!, she yelled.
R: "We didn't talk about any rules before starting this challenge.. so accept it... I won...
Kalpi grumbled and walked away.
R: "Come on say it... say that u lost and I won... come on..
K: "I wont say that.. u cheated...
R: "oh come on said it..., he taunted her walking towards her...
She took steps back shaking her head... And suddenly her leg slipped and she fell into the water... Raghav laughed looking at her...
K: "oh my god... Oh my god..., she started ranting obviously scared.
R: "come on... its just water... u r shouting like u fell into a volcano of lava..
K: "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM!!!, she shouted struggling to keep her head above the water level.
Raghav widened his eyes and without wasting a second jumped into the water and tried to save...
K: " oh god... im gonna die... im gonna die..., she ranted crying..
Raghav circled his one arm around her with the other swimming...
R: "Shut up... u r not dying..., he said annoyed.
K: "of course im gonna die..., she cried..
R: "I got u... I wont let u die.. ok?, he asked..
She looked at his eyes...
K: "U wont? Pinky promise?, she whispered after calming down a little.
Raghav chuckled.
R: "Pinky promise...
K: "Ok..., she said tightening her arms around him.
R: "Come let me get u up there...
It was already night time.. Kalpi shivered visibly because of the cold breeze because her clothes were wet.. She felt herself blushing being in wet clothes in front of her boss.
R: "i..I.. I will get u some dry clothes.., he said looking away...
He gave her his shirt and sweatpants he had inside the yacht and asked her to go change... When she came out wearing his clothes, he cant help but smile... They were too big for her but she managed to look cute... She sat awkwardly in front of him... Raghav decided to break the awkwardness...
R: "Ok...so r u ready for the question?
K: "What question?
R: " did u forget already? The winner gets to ask the loser any question and the loser has to answer honestly...
K: "Oh...

Kalpi was shocked... she stared at him with shocked expression... Out of all questions, this is the question he wanted to ask her...
K: " i.. i.. lie..., she stuttered helplessly...
R: " come on... tell me, he said smiling.
K: "I... i..., she felt like crying..
She wanted to tell him the truth but what will happen after that? He will hate her? Why the thought of him hating her killed her? She swallowed the lump in her throat painfully.
K: "Im not who u think I am..., tears pooled around her eyes.
Raghav gave her a confused smile.
R: "What do u mean by that?
K: "I...I..., she stuttered again making him frown...
Before he can ask anything, kalpi's phone rang loudly.
Kalpi sighed in relief and attended the call... it was from pakhi..
K: "hello?
P: "Kalpi... where r u? leela aunty fainted suddenly...
K: "What ? what happened?
P: "Nothing to worry darling... low bp...she is alright now.. I thought u wanted to be informed... by the way its so late... when r u coming back?
K: "im coming back right immediately..., she said and cut the call.
R: " any problem?, he asked concerned..
K: "Yes, my mo..(she stopped realizing kalpana jashwal's mom died when she was younger)... I mean my father is not feeling well... I have to go immediately..
R: "Let me drop u...
K: "no its ok..
R: "I didn't ask u a question.. I said im dropping u...
Inside the car, raghav saw kalpi clenching and unclenching her hands... He placed on hand on top of her hand making her look up at him..
R: "Don't worry... he will be alright..., he said squeezing her hand reassuringly.
She gave him a small smile but soon her smile faltered when she saw him going in the opposite way of her home...
K: "Where r u going?
R: "To ur house... ur house is at that part of the town right? Saw it in ur resume
K: "umm.. yes..., she said realizing he is taking her to kalpana jashwal's address...
They reached the address.. kalpi went out of the car and mumbled thank u to him but to her surprise he came out with her.
K: "what r u doing?
R: "Let me come inside with u... im sure u need help with ur father...
K: "NO!!!, she shouted.
R: "What?, he asked offended.
K: "I meant its ok... my cousin said the doctor already came and gave him treatment... he is ok now... u have nothing to worry about...
R: "are u sure?
K: "100%, she said giving a fake smile..
Raghav came closer to her...
R: "ok then..
K: "thanks.. u know for dropping me... and for today..., she said smiling...
R: " im the one who should thank u... I don't remember the last time I had so much fun..., he said giving a small smile..
They looked at each other... Raghav broke the eye contact first..
R: " Its better I get going now... if there's any emergency, don't hesitate to call me...
Kalpi smiled hearing his concern and nodded her head... Raghav left in his car... kalpi sighed and took out her phone and booked a cab to go home... once she reached home, she rushed to her mother's room... Pakhi, tanvi and her aunt janvi were already there near her mother..
K: "Mom... what happened? R u ok? Did u see the doctor? Did u eat the medicine?
L: "Calm down dear... yes im fine... just low bp...
Kalpi looked like she was about to cry...
L: "Im fine... don't worry darling... but ur useless maasi told ur demanding father... and im flying back home day after tomorrow..., she said caressing her cheek fondly..
Kalpi just hugged her tightly...
Inside the room,
Pakhi and tanvi looked at kalpi with teasing eyes..
K: "What?
T: "if im not mistaken the clothes u r wearing are not the clothes u wore this morning... and they r definitely not women's clothing...
P: "and yes definitely not ur size as well... I don't know how come leela aunty didn't notice it..
K: "they r my boss's, she said in a bored tone.
P&T: "WHAT?, both shouted.
K: "ssshhh.. y r u shouting?
P: " I didn't know u guys are in that level u know what I mean?
Kalpi widened her eyes in shock...
K: "Shut up!!! Its nothing like that..., then she went on to explain her whole day to them...
T: "awww... such a romantic date...
K: "it was not a date...
P: "it sure seems like a date..., she teased.
K: "Shut up guys.., she said blushing.
T: "awww... my little baby is blushing.., she pulled kalpi's cheeks..
Kalpi swatted her hands away from her cheeks.
P: "Well, if it is not a date, u can resign the job as leela aunty is going back to London...
K: "I don't want to resign the job..., she mumbled in low voice.
P: "u like him, don't u?
Kalpi looked down at her feet...
K: "I don't know and does it matter? U know what he asked me today? He asked me what was the biggest lie I ever told him... before I could answer him ur phone call saved me..., she frowned with a pained expression.
T: "u know if u like him u can't keep on continuing this lie? U have to tell him one day..
K: "I know... its just that..., she sighed.
P: "u r scared he will hate u...
Kalpi gave a sad smile...
K: "I have work tomorrow guys... good night..., pakhi and tanvi looked at each other sadly...
Raghav's house...
Raghav couldn't sleep.. he smiled remembering all the moments they had today... then he remembered her words...
