There will be new entry in "Diya Aur Baati Hum" during Lalima's wedding. A guy will come during wedding who will throw flowers at Sandhya. Sooraj will get angry and hit the guy. Delhi-based netball player is all set for her TV debut
Prachi Tehlan, who captained India's netball team in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, will soon be making her TV debut with 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'. The Delhi-based girl had retired from the game at the age of 23 and had been working with a corporate firm till the offer to star in the show came along. According to sources, Prachi will be playing a Pakistani girl, and will be paired opposite Kunal Khosla, who plays Chotu. Talking about the role, she says, "The creative director of the show approached me through my Facebook fanpage for this role. It was surprising for me, but after some deliberation, I decided to give it a try. I quit my corporate job in Delhi and have moved to Mumbai." Having been out of sports for a while, she adds, "When I was playing netball, I used to be quite fit, but in the last few years of my corporate job, I gained weight. I have to lose 15kg for the role, which shouldn't be a problem, since I have had a sports background." (Credits: Saloni Bhatia)

The upcoming episode of Diya Aur Baati Hum will show that grown up Chhotu returns to Rathi house.
Bhabho is happy seeing Chhotu and pamper him.
Chhotu is very handsome so all girls of Hanumaan Gali has fallen in love with him.
They want to get one sight on him so that they reach to Rathi's house making excuse of learning house work from Bhabho.

Diya Aur Baati Hum To Portray Arzoo-Chotu's Cross-Border Love Story!
We had reported that Diya Aur Baati Hum is all set to welcome new actors on the show. After a leap and the Mission Mahabali, this is the third time that the show will see new characters. The makers of Diya Aur Baati Hum have been experimenting with new tracks, and this time they are all set to reintroduce Sooraj's brother Chotu. We had also reported that Kunal Khosla will be stepping into the shoes of Randeep Rai.
Also, Prachi Tehlan, the netball and basketball player, will be making her debut with this show. She seen playing Chotu's love interest, Arzoo. The latest promo of DABH shows, Sandhya is happy with her family, flying kites and thanks life. The kite gets stuck across the border and a lady is seen removing it.
Now, we get to know that Arzoo is a girl from Pakistan and she will be coming to India to meet her friend in the Rathi family. Who is that friend is yet to be seen. Also, veteran actress Joyoshree Arora, who was seen in Humlog and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, will be seen playing an important role in this show. She will be seen playing the role of Arzoo's grandmother.
The show will now be focussing on
Sooraj's brother Chotu and his love track. Joyoshree plays Resham, who will be very close to Arzoo. We had reported that Prateeksha Lonka will play Arzoo's chachi, but now there are reports that Rukhsar Rehman will be essaying that role, while Bhuvan Chopra will play Arzoo's chacha. Arzoo, who comes to India to meet her best friend, will be falling in love with Chotu. Get ready to watch the cross- border love story...

In the start of the show, Chotu was a young boy who the Rathi family basically adopted. He worked with Suraj in his shop, and Suraj and the whole family took great care of him. I think he was an orphan?
He also played Cupid to bring SurYa closer in the beginning, as Sandhya didn't really love him after marriage.
